Apprentice Survival (WC event)

Raypaw padded into the clearing, a bit tired. He had been out in the territory, training and practicing his battle moves. He had worked on his strength by slashing at a tree, then practiced individual moves and his reflexes. He had done that for quite a while, from sunup until now. He was tired and his muscles ached, but he heard a warrior, Dashfoot, call out for the apprentices in the camp clearing. Apparently he had a challenge for them? Eagerly, Raypaw trotted over. He would complete this challenge, no matter how tired he was. Maybe after all his training this morning, he had gotten slightly stronger? Well this event would be a good time to test that.

The golden apprentice heared a cat call his name and his ears perked up. "I'm here! Can I join in?" He called.

Tigerpaw spotted Raypaw and ran to him. "Hi Raypaw," She rasped, coughing. She sat down, staring at the ground. She hated this stupid greencough! "I called your name. I want you to join me. There may be no way I can do this alone with greencough. But I'm NOT stepping back!"

Dashfoot sighed. Other apprentices could join latter. "Tigerpaw, Dirtpaw and Ryepaw. Follow me. more cats can join latter" He padded out of camp. "Your task is to survive out in our territory without being caught. If you are caught, you are out. You must all stay together and we will see how much you learn. The apprentice who survives the longest will be crowned the winner."

(So out will be decided by a die. Number is 6. if you are closer to 6, the longer you stay in. the further from 6, the shorter you stay in.

Dirtpaw followed Raypaw, Tigerpaw, and Twigpaw out of camp, a bit nervous. He had a feeling he wasn’t going to survive very long out here. “I think I’m going to go hunting for food,” He meowed to the small group. He headed out, following a rabbit trail.

Twigpaw bounced happily after his denmates. When Tigerpaw proposed he wanted to go looking for moss for nests, he quickly farted to his side. “I’ll help you,” He said. “I know a great spot.” He grinned at Tigerpaw.
