Fern approached the wandering cats. "Hello?" he called. "Can I help you find the kits?"
A few of the cats seemed to be giving him a death stare.

Status: besides the fact that my mind disconnected it would be chaos(in a good way)

Fern nodded. "The scent trail led here?" He knew where the kits might be if this was where the scent trail led. It wasn't a safe place.
