Spiritflight followed behind, glancing at the sky constantly, trying to see when they might get back to Riverclan, or some sort of clan. He signed and have up eventually. He looked around at the snow-covered landscape. It is beautiful, isn't it?, he thought to himself.

Oakflames ear flicked at the sound of a rustling bush. He looked over, seeing the leaves moving. The tom walked over, peering through the leaves.
He let out a shriek as a rabbit leaped out from the bush quickly, hopping away.

Spiritflight glanced at the rabbit and took advantage of it. He grabbed it by the hind legs as it goes and dragged it near him so he could deliver up the killing bite. When the rabbit was still, he looked at Oakflame. "Well, we don't want to starve, right?"

Oakflame looked away, licking the fur one his chest. He felt a tad bit embarrassed he got scared by a puny rabbit of all things. The tom padded back over to his friend, "Yeah."

Spiritflight let out a smile and a mrrow of reassurance. "Don't be embarrassed, I would have been freaked out too!" He mewed cheerfully. He pushed the rabbit towards his friend. " The warrior code probably doesn't apply out here, so you have first bite! "

Oakflame leaned down, taking a bite from the prey. He chewed and swallowed, glancing around the barren area.

Spiritflight took a bite next. "Pretty strange around here during leaf-bare. It drives cats crazy. I heard a cat day that many moons ago, during a leaf-bare day, it turned completely black. The sun couldn't be seen, and the moon was black. He said that a few minutes later, it returned back to normal again. Pretty strange, huh?"

(Spiritflight is referring to a solar eclipse)
