Lucy pulled out her phone, opening her notes app. She handed her phone to the girl.

It completely slipped Lucy's mind that she and Bubble were basically strangers to each other.

Lucy smiled. "Yeah, of course! My brother should be coming to pick me up soon, so if you think your parents would be cool with it you could come with me, but if they're not, we should meet here tomorrow!"

Her cheerful smile faltered. "Oh, das ist ein Problem... Well, I guess we should just meet here tomorrow." A small, red SUV pulled into the parking lot of a restaurant across the street from the park. There was a dent on the back, and a scratch running across the left side. "That's my brother over there," Lucy told Bubble, watching her twin brother - a tall boy with curly blonde hair and brown eyes - hop out of the car. He'd only just gotten his license, but he always made sure to rub it in Lucy's face that he had one and she didn't.
