"Okay... fine with me..." Forest mewed " But not an animal you mouse-brain!" "I need to kill a cat." Forest thought hard about what he said next. "My name is Forest, given to me by my parents, but when I first kill a cat... I want a new name. Something dark... something evil..." "Anyways... What's your name?"

Zakien suppressed his need to roll his eyes at the grey kitten. "And since you haven't been trained to kill a cat yet, you might as well suppress the need by torturing some little bitty animals for the time being. I'm sure it'll help," the rogue said with a glare at Forest. Such an odd name; the kitten wasn't even brown. A cat named after a forest should at least look like one. "You may call be Zakien," Zakien told the little kitten. "I was named after a demon, an evil, bloodthirsty monster from the Place of No Stars, if you know what I mean."

"So... Are we going to train or not?" Forest mewed. "Zakien... Weird name..." He thought to himself. "And what the heck is the Place of No Stars?"

Zakien's whiskers twitched in amusement. The kit was funny whether he knew or not. His confusion was so obvious. "The Place of No Stars is where all the bad kitties go when they die. Some clan cats call it the Dark Forest," the rogue silkily explained. "Since you're so impatient to train, your first job is to take an assessment. That way I know what I need to teach you." While showing emotion was usually a negative trait when it came to killing, even if that emotion was fury, Zakien decided that it would be one of the last things that Forest would learn. The kit wouldn't be using his teaching against him, that way.

(I'm fine with it. Would your characterbe there for training lessons, also, or... just going to put out there that Zakien has a (evil rogue) family, but he'll try to meet with Forest for a couple hours each day.)

(( @bmkmb @Katwhisperer I would say not necessarily in the beginning, she thinks she's super tough, lol, (she can watch the training sessions and pick up on techniques n things from watching) but she will need help getting food out in the wild as she hasn't experienced food that isn't easy to get. ))
