Pinepaw's heart thudded in his chest. She was telling him that it was fine. But he didn't think so. But she mentioned that the bracelet didn't break, and he offered a weak smile. "I guess that's a plus." he mewed, voice shaky. He wanted to do something with her. And they could leave camp now, which added so many new possibilities to hang out. Looking up at the sky, the tawny apprentice noticed it was getting dark, a beautiful clear night with tons of stars. "It's a really cool night with lots of stars. Do y-you maybe want to go to Firefly Cove? Watch the stars?" he asked awkwardly. Was that too... romantic? Like, maybe it was a bit too obvious?

Turqoise eyes blinked obliviously down at the apprentice by her side. “Leave camp? On our own?” Shockhoney’s brow furrowed slightly. “Can we even do that?” She canted her head, trying to recall. . . “I thought the rule was that two warriors have to go with each apprentice. Oooh! We can invite Wolfhive! Or even better, Mountaintalon. That’s my Papa. He’s awesome.” The young warrior beamed, eyes lighting up.

Oh right. Apprentices needed two warriors to leave camp. He blinked. He was running through cats in his mind, when she cut through his train of thought and mentioned bringing Mountaintalon. NO! They definitely could NOT bring Mountaintalon. That asshole didn't deserve to call himself Shockhoney's dad. "How about we bring Wolfhive instead?" he asked. But then he realized that he should probably do what she suggested if he wanted to win her over. "But we can bring Mountaintalon instead, if that's what you would like! He seems like..." the words he was about to say were forced out of his mouth. "a cool dude. But Wolfhive's a cool dude too!" he asked. He'd much rather Wolfhive came, but it was up to her in the end.
