Starrypaw came. She needed to learn to swim if she was gonna belong to Riverclan, as opposed to another clan. Starrypaw thought there where other clans? She needed to talk to other cats more often! Starrypaw joined.

An overnight camping trip... in unknown territory... with only Fades with them. Her brother was strong, and a good fighter, but Dusklion's heart leapt into her throat at the thought of what could happen in this perilous territory. Images of Mossypaw's lifeless body or Kitefly's glassy eyes (the last one she tried to not think about too often...) were enough to get her to her paws and cross quickly over to her brother. She glanced over all the apprentices who had stepped up to join - some not all that old - before swinging her gaze to her brother and lowering her voice so that it was spoken only to him.
"You sure it's smart to not take any warriors?" she asked in a hushed tone, looking at him worriedly. She wasn't entirely certain how her brother would take his, but despite their shared awkwardness around younger cats they were both among the first to think of the youth in their Clan as far as their safety was concerned. "The territory is pretty mapped out from patrols 'n the like, but even then we don't know all of what this place holds. At least... at least take some of the Lionhearts with you."
Quite a few apprentices joined, which pleased Fadingstar. He didn't see Talonpaw among them, which was disappointing, but at least a lot of other 'paws had shown. Talonpaw was nearing the end of his allotment for training time; hopefully he already had swimming skills under his fur, because otherwise Fadingstar would be quite disappointed in his decision not to show.
He turned his head as Dusklion approached and expressed concern for what she saw as his attempt to go out alone. It was a fair worry, but not one she needed to have. He gave her a respectful, short nod. "Don't worry, I'm not going out alone. I've already asked Owltalon and Bearsnout to go out with us; they should be here shortly. But I appreciate your concern, really."
Even though him and Dusklion didn't agree on everything, one thing they did agree on was the safety of the kids.
In a teasing tone, he added, "Try not to destroy the camp while I'm gone."
Once Owltalon and Bearsnout had joined them, Fadingstar raised his tail to get the apprentices' atttention. "I want every apprentice sticking close together, and close to me, Owltalon, and Bearsnout. Owltalon, I want you bringing up the rear of our group and making sure nobody falls behind.
"The territory out there could be dangerous; we're going to have to venture beyond RiverClan's borders. Owltalon, Bearsnout, and I will keep you safe, but in order to do that you all need to listen to our directions. No arguments or complaints. With that said, let's go!"
Tail held high, the leader charged out of camp.
[ My next meeting post will be in 2-3 days! Remember that your apprentice needs to participate all the way through this event for it to count as 1-2 training instances. ]

As they started to head out of camp, Fadingstar looked over his shoulder and caught sight of Willowkit trying to follow them. Sighing, the leader backtracked momentarily to confront the kit. "Willowkit, this event is for apprentices only. I want you going back to camp, right now. If I catch you still following us, I'll delay your apprentice ceremony by a moon. Go."
[ If Willowkit is caught sneaking out of camp again, she will have her apprentice ceremony delayed by one month ]

Covepaw followed behind the collection of cats, trying to peek above their head from time to time. Though his legs were much too short for that and made him instantly have to go back to staring at only the crowd ahead. If only his legs were the slightest bit longer he could've...! Whatever! He didn't need to see what was going on to keep following the leader.
Sneezepaw nervously trailed behind the cats, eyes passing quickly from one object to the next. Her paw steps would quicken then slow. Depending on how far away she was from the group, that's when her pace would change. Though there was some look to her that made it seem she wasn't all there. Eyes in a dream-like state, exaggerated and sometimes slow movements that made her look like she was in a daze. After some point this stopped and she no-longer strayed behind the group, keeping in perfect rhythmic pace.
