Daffodilpaw sat back to observe her work on her first cat creation, which was supposed to resemble Elkjump. She smothered mud around it for the brown, sticking some leaves in the side for the ears. She took her paw and dipped it in mud, splashing it against the rocks playfully with a giggle. Mud splashed off the rock and onto her face, but she didn't care. She continued to laugh joyously as she created a rock look-a-like to her mentor.
Burningpaw eagerly rushed to dampen its front paws on the mud, and excitedly ran to a nearby, large rock. The tortie pawed on it, painting a very very scary fox, like those in the elders' tales. It looked very fierce!
Recently opened ears perked up as the split colored calico stared out of the nursery with wonder in her pale green eyes. She had managed to worm her way out of Firenotmom's den with the intention of finding Snowydad. He might be a pushover, but he was their pushover - her littermates had equal rights to ownership, duh - and Cardinalkit had to check up on him every so often. Especially after finding out that she didn't have just one but two fury family members?! And he wasn't one of them?! Um, hello? Why was he slacking? It's like he wanted to be demoted from Snowydad to ThatcatSnowy.
All this was forgotten, however, when she blinked out into the clearing, tiny mouth gaped wide open in a silent little o much more reminiscent of her father than she cared to admit. The world outside! It was so big! Oh oh, and there were a ton of big cats all around! And one of them was calling everyone over! No matter their age! To come... paint rocks? That sounded dumb. But... actually. That was probably something Seeds would like. Blegh. Now she had to call to her to see if she wanted to join this rock painting thing. Because you know... just because it was stupid it didn't mean she was going to have her sister miss out. It wasn't that she was interested in it! She was just an awesome sis!
"'ey! 'ey you lot! Come see this! We paintin' tocks 'ee."
Alright. So the whole talking thing was still an in the process situation. She was learning, but it was still... inelegant at its highest peak. Cardinalkit did not let this stop her, however, as she squealed a small war cry, leaving the nursery with a small tumble. Giddily, she shook the dust out of her abundant, kit soft fluff and walked towards the big cat hosting, expecting a full run down on what this whole rock painting thing entailed. She got the general idea, but like... she wanted the tips and tricks. If she was going to be lowering herself to this sort of activity, then she was going to be the best kit to ever paint a damned rock in all of WindClan times infinity plus one!

"Is that a..." Bouncepaw hesitates, trying his best to guess. It was not easy to tell what the heap of dirt was, "Did you try to make a smashed egg?" He guesses. Bouncepaw looks again, squinting. "Oh, a squashed mouse." This time he's fairly confident he has it right.
Bouncepaw sits down next to Daffodilpaw and also attempts to paint his own mud painting. He wasn't sure if he would be good at it, but at least it'll be better than his sister's, he thinks to himself. Bouncepaw paints his sister.

The sound of his sister's squeals reached Jaggedkit newly open ears. Some how Cardinal had dared to wander to the furthest spot away from mama fire. The exit of the den, to the outside were where fluffy dad snowy always went. Ever since jaggedkit had managed to crawl around he had explored the den, but never quite leaving mama fire's side. Cardinalkit didn't seem to fear that though, since she was like really really far away!
Though he would hate to leave the warm comforts of his nest, whatever cardinal was yapping about caught his interest. He was curious to see what his sis had seen. So he stood up and wobbled his way over to her, a slow and stumbly journey but he made it! But hey, where did cardinalkit go- she left already!? How dare. peering out at the outside, jaggedkit looked around for where his sister had run of too.
"wow is big!!" he squeaked out, taking in vast greatness of the outside. There were so many big cats too! Finally spotting his sister amongst the mix, he ran, tumbled, wobbled and ran again until he had reached her. "wha izit" he asked, looking around confused. He was here now, what was he here for?
Cardinalkit (Dina) and Jaggedkit (Jag) were going out. That instantly had Strawberrykit on the alert, bright blue eyes narrowed with attentiveness, head cocked to the side as her siblings left the family nest, taking their warmth with them. She huffed, rising to her paws, wobbling for a precarious moment - for skies' sake, she was only nearing the one moon old mark, cut a lass some slack.
Strawberrykit would join them - if only to make certain that no big warriors acted like bullies - but Seedkit an' Frostkit were still here. Well... Frosty was a boy (ew), so he could take care of himself. It was Seedling that she and Dina had taken to hovering around, an unspoken agreement. "Seedkit, wake up, wake up." The speckled kitten attempted to headbutt her sister, her eyes round and big in the dim lighting. "Cardinalkit an' Jaggedkit went to paint rocks. You come too?"
The tom giggled as Burningpaw ran off. Turning to Sunpaw, he stiffled a laugh. "Yes beautiful line, Sunpaw!"
Taking a rock, the tom would coat his paw in mud and begin to draw. When he was done, he proudly puffed out his fur. He had drawn him and Sunpaw, hunting together.
Crowfade padded into the clearing and gazed around looking for her perfect rock. Sure she was older then many of these cats she still enjoyed some artsy stuff here and there. She grabbed a rock and some grass and created the *perfect* self portrait.

When you couldn't see, making art wasn't the simplest of tasks. The only arts the blind she-cat ever learned was how to traverse the territory without bumping into rocks, how to sometimes land a kill if the prey was loud as a badger. And because of this, Snowblind hesitated to join in on the Clan's fun; the idea made her self-conscious, because she couldn't help but feel she'd look mouse-brained.
But as the fun wore on, her own insecurities were chipped away at. Hearing primarily the younger cats have fun, Snowblind figured it'd be a good show of persistence for the young ones. She knew her limitations should never stop her, and by acting on it, perhaps the 'kits and 'paws would remember to apply it to their own young lives. Her uncertainty on something like this just because she couldn't see wasn't setting the best example.
So the snow-white cat came to her paws, following her nose and ears to pad over to Birchpaw. She told him jestfully, "You tell us what to do, you have to help get me started. Would you mind getting a rock in my paws?" Snowblind loathed asking for help nearly as much as she hated getting wet, but well, she couldn't sniff out a rock, so it was that or miss out!
