Lynx turned to see Altlas approaching him. "Hello, Atlas," he said. "Glad to see you decided to come." His voice was sarcastic but lighthearted. "Did you hear the breifing I gave Ghost, or should I repeat it?" #Panzer
Ghost scowled, wrapping the bandanna around her frizz of hair. Boy, was this Atlas slow. She bet even her brother could run circles around this guy. Huffing, the girl stalked a few centimeters away from Atlas, keeping her eyes trained on Lynx.
Atlas smiled in a kinda mad but trying not to snap way. "I heqard it!" They said and glanced at Ghost.

"Good," Lynx said to Atlas. He heard Ghost's tone of voice and decided that they needed to do something. "Ghost, help me get this tank started and we can get this tank on the target course. Atlas, get in the tank and make sure the sights and gun are in working order." As he spoke, he grabbed the two-man crank that allowed them to start the engine and went to the back of the tank. #Panzer

Ghost stared at the controls. Oop. She had forgotten (actually didn't even learn) the works. Oh well. She'd figure it out eventually. The teen booped a big red button on the board, then fiddled around with the levers.

Atlas narrowed her eyes at Ghost, wondering if they knew what they were doing but shrugged. They checked the gun and sights then reported to Lynx. "It works, commander!" They yelled.

"Wunderbar!" Lynx replied to Atlas as he climbed up on top of the tank, dropping through the hatch into the interior of the Panther. "Driver, get us to the firing range," he shouted down to Ghost over the rumble of the engine. Then, he stuck his upper body out of the hatch. No point in making it hard to see if nobody will be shooting at us, he reasoned. #Panzer

Ghost grabbed one of the levers, pushing it all the way up. She held onto her beloved steering gear, cranking the speed to the max, enjoying the exhilaration of the tank careening over the ground beneath. Obviously didn't realise Lynx was sticking out of the tank performing some crazy dangerous stunt. He was behind the teen, so she didn't notice. Maybe he would fall out..
The tank quickly rumbled down the gravel road. Lynx gripped the sides of the cupola, watching the road ahead. Here is the turn, he thought to himself. "Driver, links!" He called into the intercom. Lynx grimaced, knowing that Ghost was probably going to crash them into something. "Slowly, please," he added. #Panzer
(links means left in German)

Ghost sent the tank careening to the left in a sharp turn, slowing down for all of one second before continuing at her breakneck speed. He didn't say to consistently go slower, did he? Anyway her brother loves - loved it when she sent them speeding down the road on her bike. Before all of this.

Lynx sighed as the tank barreled around the corner. To heck with a 150 km range on the final drive! At this rate, it won't make half of that. As they arrived at the range, he saw three shapes sitting on a hill. He looked through his binoculars, then grinned. He knew what they were, but his crew didn't. "Achtung! Three enemy panzers ahead and to the right! Driver, panzer halt and hull 3 o'clock, gunner, turret 2 o'clock! Load APCR! Oh, and button up!" Lynx barked into the intercom. He ducked down into the confines of the Panther as a shot from one of the tanks whistled overhead, but left his hatch open. The loader shoved the round into the breech. "Gunner, fire at will!"
(The 'enemy panzers' are really just three life-sized, armored, and remote-controlled tanks that fire smoke rounds and are used for training…but Atlas and Ghost don't know that lol. Also, for reference, 'button up' means to close the hatches.)

Ghost growled something intelligible, panzer screeching to a halt, almost toppling. That was fun! She got out of her position, making for Lynx's open hatch. The idiot had dished out orders and forgot to obey them himself. Goodness.
