Heathernose blinked at Lionscar, feeling heat rush through her pelt as she grew flustered. She hadn't noticed that anycat looked at her that way or felt that way about her, so it took her by surprise. "Thank you." She answered, licking her shoulder to put her flustered energy somewhere else. "You're an amazing friend, Lionscar. And an excellent warrior." She meowed, she didn't want him to undersell himself. I never noticed him in this way before...but now I have to at least try.

Heathernose smiled at Lionscar, grateful for his faith in her. "Hey, you sound like you're more comfortable around me now!" She pointed out giving his shoulder a gentle, teasing nudge.

Heathernose nodded in understanding. “That makes sense.” She meowed thoughtfully. “Do you…do you think telling me how feel helped?” She felt flustered again just at the thought, and bent to lick her chest nervously. Why must she keep bringing this up? More importantly, how long will it take to get used to the idea of her and Lionscar trying out their relationship? It’s still new. She reminded herself. I’m sure it’ll be fine.

Heathernose smiled and leaned on Lionscar's shoulder again, following his gaze to the sky. "Good." She purred. "I suppose from here on...no more secrets." It was a statement, and a promise. If they were to really give this relationship a try, she didn't want them to hold back anything from each other. She strongly believed that was the only way it would work.
