Mintkit popped her head up and perked her ears when she heard the announcement. She tottered over curiously, tipping her head, looking up, up, up at the Big Cats. A game? With herb-y plants? Like the plants she was wondering about? She heard what the gray-y Big Cat said about a BerryBigCat giving the hints. Which meant that BerryBigCat knew about these herby plants? Her wide pale-green eyes traveled to the other Big Cat there. Was looking like brown-y and green-y eyes. Mintkit tottered over and squeaked, "Hi!" then, "A-Are y-y-you th' Berrycat?" she asked, tipping her head to the side.

Brokenstream purred as Berryshine took a seat next to him and Caveclaw. He gently touched his nose to her ear, eyes gleaming with pride. ”Berryshine! It’s got a great ring to it.” He mewed truthfully, turning his attention back to the…quickly gathering crowd. ”I promise this time I won’t get marigolds wrong.” The Lionheart joked (but a flicker of uncertainty was definitely there for a moment).
His light green gaze seemed to pass right over a familiar little thing who was looking for him as he tried to count how many participants had shown up already…hopefully there would be no “sneak attacks”. Caveclaw would need to make sure the kits stayed in camp. The bengal gave a concerned glance to the Lionheart with a broken leg, but he was sure she was still more than capable. After all, he was more concerned about the kits accidentally furthering her injury than she was about Caveclaw hurting herself more.
Talonpaw pads over at Caveclaw's call. As much as he doesn't like socialization, he needs to be an active part of the Clan if he wants to change things, so he swallows his distaste and gravitates toward Berryshine and Brokenstream once the warrior finished explaining.

Primrosepaw´s ears perked up at the sound of Caveclaw´s voice. She had fought the dogs alongside the warrior. Emerald eyes flicking over to the lykoi mix, the mottled dark-cream-and-white apprentice made her way over, coming to a stop beside Talonpaw. The apprentice gave her recently returned denmate a nod before turning her attention to Caveclaw once more.

Softkit sat down with a plop and a huff. She was still outraged that she had to be carried here -- by a furless warrior, no less! -- and began inspecting her fur. There were plenty (in reality only a few) of grass and general ickiness in her fur from the hike. UGH. She began carefully untangling burrs and smoothing out spots that stuck up. This was going to take forever! Especially since she had the best longest fur in the world! Stupid... What was the warrior's name? Cave something? She didn't care. Stupid Cave something! She just wished she could've stayed in the twoleg den. That had been much better. But noooooo. They had to come here. And here was just a hollow with barely built dens! Ugh! Suddenly a call cut through the clearing, and her head popped up, pausing her wash. It was only natural, as she was much too important to be left out of anything, when she saw the speaker-- Cave something! Nope! She returned to her grooming. She would not participate in whatever Cave was saying. After Cavesomething's crimes, she couldn't! That was, until, she saw a familiar pelt much like her own. Duskkit! What was her sister doing?? Everybody knew Cavesomething couldn't be trusted! Softkit got up and trotted over to her sibling. "Duskkit!" She hissed, "What are you doing??" She demanded, gesturing over to the gathering crowd with her tail.

Rainpaw raced over at Caveclaw’s call. Herb knowledge! Perfect! She’s been waiting for this moment! She knew that Ravenpaw wouldn’t be all that interested in herb knowledge, so she didn’t bother waiting for her sister. Instead she raced up to Seapaw with a warm smile, looking at Berryshine and Brokenstream and greeting them with a friendly blink.

Whisperingkit poked her head out of the nursery tentatively, whiskers twitching as she considered her options. But her curiosity was too great. The silvery blue-gray she-cat padded over, quickly spotting a couple of her littermates and making her way over to join them, greeting them with a mew. “Hi!”
