Ok ok ok ok, they had a Big Bird Problem. For once, Deadmoon wished Leechscar was about. But also, she should be able to handle this. She was a warrior, it was her job! She HAD to be able to handle this. At least Honeypaw was being sensible and staying somewhat sheltered behind her, as the bird flapped its wings before folding them on its back. Stars, those eyes looked beady.
We’re going to charge it. Birds are still prey, it should skedaddle. Deadmoon told her apprentice, unsheathing her claws.
If it tries to grab you hit it. She was actually a bit scared. If you DID get picked up, you were kind of toast.

She took a swing at it and hit the edge of its wing, flapping into the air and settling down to the side. Deadmoon was still wary though, keeping her eyes on the vulture just in case. @
