quillpaw's ear twitches, trying to catch any little sounds that could indicate where sharpfrost is. though, much to his disappointment, it's pretty useless. combined with the pine needles crunching under his paws and the sounds of birds singing, any noises sharpfrost possibly makes ends up being drowned out. I don't even see how this is supposed to reach me how to be stealthy, he thinks with a scoff.

all I really have is my sense of smell in this situation, he glances around. mismatch eyes land on the tree where sharpfrosts scent lingered the most earlier, staring at it with unblinking eyes. okay..time to take a wild guess. "I'm assuming you're behind that tree. your scent is the strongest near that one." he meows.

Sharpfrost snickers from behind the tree she used as cover. Really? The apprentice was just going to call out a potential enemy. "Really, Quillpaw? Instead of trying to get the jump on a hidden enemy, you just call out? Stats above, we've got a lot of work to do."

with a temper as bad as a bear's, irritation flares within quillpaw at sharpfrost's snickering. he shoots a sharp glare at the warrior, tail lashing in annoyance. what exactly has she expected him to do?

"well, it's not like you're actually teaching me how to be stealthy or anything. at this point, this is just a game of glorified hide and seek." he hisses, frown displayed on his maw. "looks like you've got a lot of work to do yourself." he remarks sharply.
