14. Who starts the hand holding?
despite cotton being a quiet shy boy, i think he might get brave enough to introduce hand-holding to the relationship because it's a sweet and subtle gesture that he'd be able to work up the courage to do. doesn't even have to look at her as he makes his move, but just feeling that first awkward brush of hands then going for it

17. Who falls asleep in the others lap and who carries them to bed?
could go either way on this one but i'm biased towards cotton's ambition and desire to be helpful causing him to overwork himself and after a long day, collapsing on green. i think she'd be happy to curl right up with him !

19. Who thinks they are not good enough for the others love? and who’s more afraid of losing the other? Who thinks they keep messing up, only for the other to tell them they don’t need to worry?
so there are a lot of questions on this one but i'll try to make it as clear as i can! cotton does not think he is good enough for green's love and probably can't believe she reciprocates his affections. i think he's led a life of being talked down to and might've even started believing some of it, and so he's ambitious/helpful to prove he's worthwhile; still, i think he's insecure in some ways. especially after what happened with his mother, it might be difficult for cotton to believe he's worthy of another cat's love (particularly green since he sees her as a wonderful friend).

i personally think green is more afraid of losing cotton. i get the impression that when she acquires a friend, especially a best friend, she clings to them (not necessarily in a needy way, just cannot stand to lose them) and so she would find it very hard to let cotton go.

cotton is doubtful and seems to question himself at times, so i think he's more likely to feel as though he keeps making mistakes and messing up, and i definitely believe green would be the one to reassure him.

20. Who orders take out at two in a morning? and who wakes the other up at three in the morning to go downstairs with them to get a glass of water because it’s too dark?
green orders the 2am takeout, no doubt about that in my mind. she might even be ''polite'' and wake cotton to see if he wants anything before she's done placing the order hehe
i don't think either are particularly fearful of the dark or would have an issue getting a glass of water alone, but cotton might want green along if only for the company. (or might find her too peaceful to disrupt and bring a glass of water back to her) <3

21. Who does some crazy stunt to try and impress the other and who ends up driving them to the emergency room after it backfires?
i feel like green has less inhibition keeping her in check, and she would be more willing to put herself on the line to impress cotton. she has the optimism to think any stunt will have the best outcome, though the ER physician might not agree haha (i think it'd be more worrying to cotton than impressive though)
so, green doin the crazy stunt and concerned cotton bringing her to the hospital

58. Which one holds the umbrella over both of them when it rains?
once again green would probably bust out the umbrella because if there can't be literal sunshine, she'll be the figurative sunshine and brighten his mood by making sure neither of them get rained on. alternatively, she might not bother with the umbrella at all and try to get cotton to go run and dance and laugh and splash in the rain with her, who knows.

40. Which one does the posing while the other one draws?
i'm inclined to believe puddle would have an interest in the finer, quieter arts, so i believe he'd like to use dawn as a model as he works on his drawing of her. not sure if she'd have the patience to be still for super long periods like that haha but i don't think he'd mind too much ultimately even if she was squirmy

as an aside, i feel like it'd take puddle some time to be comfortable enough showing her his drawings of her/or anything really. probably one of those 'secret hobby' sort of situations and he's cautious about opening himself to possible criticism.

47. Who’s the first one to admit they have feelings for the other?
seems like a dawn thing to do because she's pretty brave and willing to put herself out there, so i don't think confessing would be a huge deal to her (minus the potential to disrupt their friendship). but i think she'd want to take that risk of making her feelings known since she's got that bold side.

puddle the energetic overthinker probably burns himself out after a bit, so i could see him just sort of falling asleep on dawn and dawn dragging his butt to bed so they can actually get a decent night's rest.

i don't think there is much of a question here because definitely dawn-- dawn all the way. dawn would be the one going all out and doing her crazy stunt because why not? and then it backfires terribly, so poor puddle gets the pleasure of bringing her to the ER.

dawn! i think dawn would be the one who pushes things forward in the relationship because what's she gonna do? wait around for puddle to do it? no! she got this. she would take the bull by the horns and instigate some heckin hand holding when she wants to!

48. How good would your pairing be at parenting?
probably fine? hard to tell since they're a lil on the younger side being old apps but i believe puddle would be a fine parent, if not a bit withdrawn at first because he's uncertain/worried. once dawn shows him it's all gonna be okay, i think he'd warm right up to his family.

55. Who takes a selfie when the other one falls asleep on their shoulder?
oh right, amending question 17 -- when puddle falls asleep on her inevitably, i could see dawn snapping that selfie of them and writing some witty tagline to go along with it.

58. Which one holds the umbrella over both of them when it rains?
i feel like sweet boy puddle would have that taken care of. he seems thoughtful so would have an umbrella at the ready (regardless of whether or not rain was expected), so he's prepared to whip that sucker out when it's pouring. he'd be happy to share with dawn, i imagine.

10. Who wakes the other up in the middle of the night to tell them a cool dream they had? Who has the most nightmares, and who sings them back to sleep after?
i think fire is a more vivid dreamer than ice, so he's going to be the one waking her up because she wouldn't BELIEVE who he just dreamed about, she's gonna love it! and ice groggily listens through narrowed eyes because she was enjoying her sleep but knows she should indulge the fire puff

when ice does dream, she probably has nightmares after her rockier past. i think she'd dream of being back with the loner gang and suffering from their abuse, and fire would happily comfort her back to sleep

18. Who sends encouraging text messages throughout the day?
the obvious answer is fire, but he scrolls through his contact list and sends EVERYONE encouraging messages throughout the day/never forgets a holiday or birthday etc

BUT! i think ice would also do that (just for fire though) she'd send him ''encouragement'' .. or, what she believes is encouraging but sounds vaguely threatening at times? whatever, fire knows she means well

fire for both, i think he'd get hungry at night and have a craving for a specific food item and wake ice up like "i did it again" really sheepishly and ice might act exasperated but will be asking a moment later if he placed her order too because she wants in on that

i don't think fire is honestly afraid of the dark but might play it up to ice because she'd begrudgingly escort him downstairs. in turn, she expects him to do the same during the nights that she feels particularly paranoid.

23. Who talks to the other while they are sleeping?
it would start out like an unfounded interrogation on ice's part. she'd ask his subconscious questions like "are you having an affair" and "where you at last night" "you think other she-cat prettier than me" etc. etc. and when that gets her nowhere, i think she'd eventually fall into saying sweet things she can't always find the words to say to him while they're both awake

25. Who starts a food fight in the kitchen?
ice gets bored waiting for dinner so she's gotta spice it up somehow, and occasionally that takes the form of throwing food at the chef when she doesn't think he's looking (and proceeding to act like a giant bird flew through the window, tossed that tomato at him, and flew out again) - same story, different animals

28. Who would they love to go on a double date with?
gosh, i don't know. i suppose... any of fire's adopted children and their SO. here's the thing, i think ice would be against it because she takes a more hands off parenting style but fire wants to be there to chaperone in case something happens -- once they're actually accompanying them on the date, ice would definitely be a backseat driver of everything and harshly critique the SO (i.e. "WHAT YOU DOING? you pull out [adopted kit's] CHAIR LIKE REAL GENTLEMAN.")

32. Who wakes the other up in the morning? How do they wake them up?
fire, little cute smooches.

41. If they were about to rob a museum, which one does backflips through lasers and which one is strolling behind with a bag of chips?
ice has had this planned for YEARS and she's given fire specific instructions: stay out of the way. she is backflipping through lasers, turning off security systems, tasing the guards, lowering herself into exhibits to steal the treasures. fire is just touring the place and looking at what it has to offer with his bag of chips.

44. Which one screams about the spider and which one brings the spider outside?
ok but this is not what you think it is. fire screams about the spider because he's enthusiastic about it! a spider has made a home in their home!! isn't that amazing? they have a spider friend now!!! a roommate! ICE COME SEE THE SPIDER! and ice takes it away outside calmly because No, they are not adopting a spider.

59. If your pairing went on vacation, where would they go and what would they do? Who would take the pictures?
i think they'd both want to go to japan, to be honest. or do some sort of southeast asia journey through several different countries. they're the type of tourists to go full in "take on the local approach" and avoid being labeled as tourists at all costs, they want to truly live the culture. eat all the foods specific to that region (they'd enjoy that a lot i bet), take in historical landmarks, attend street markets and such. basically avoid the mainstream stuff.

they'd trade off taking the pictures, i think they'd want pics of different things- fire wants pictures of him and ice with interesting artifacts, whereas ice would probably want to capture life shots to remember the landscape/how people of the country navigate their everyday lives.
