Gorsefur flicked his ears, annoyed. That's for me to know, and you to find out. He sneered, sticking his nose in Vinepaw's face. What you need... Is to know how to fight like a dark warrior. He mewed thoughtfully, steadying himself.

Vinepaw stared back at Gorsefur, his gaze unwavering despite the older cat's sneering face inches from his own. He could feel the heat of Gorsefur's breath and the sharpness of his words, but he refused to let it rattle him. “Fight like a dark warrior?” Vinepaw echoed, his tone a mix of challenge and curiosity. “What does that even mean? Are you saying I need to abandon everything I’ve learned, every principle I’ve been taught?”

He took a step back, narrowing his eyes as he steadied himself. “I know what it means to protect my clan. I’ve been training hard, and I’ve learned from those who truly care about our way of life. If you think you can teach me something, it better be worth my time. But if all you’ve got is sneers and cryptic remarks, then I’d rather find my own path. I’m not here to play games or follow shadows. I’m here to be the best warrior I can be, on my own terms.”

Gorsefur blinked, staring straight into Vinepaw's eyes. Yes. You'll need to re-learn everything those pesky mouse-brains have taught you. He narrowed his eyes. Belive me, I'm a way better fighter than them. He meowed matter of factly.

Vinepaw watched the warrior tensely what could this mean for hi while yes he wanted to grow in rank and become stronger it was against his morals to train with a dark forest cat one who tortured him at that. He felt a pang of anger when Gorsefur called his friends and clanmates Mousebrain "You would be no match for my mentor Dustbunny she would whip that smirk off your face" he said snapping. He stood taller head held high he wouldn't cower not yet anyway

Gorsefur snorted, then snapped, Dustbunny, huh? Sounds like she might need some training herself if she thinks you can hold your own against me. But keep dreaming, Mousebrain, because when it comes to real warriors, you’re still in the nursery! With a flick of his tail, he started to pad away, leaving Vinepaw in the shadows. You know where to find me when you come crying back! He called, starting to stalk away.

Vinepaw narrowed his eyes who did this cat think he was. His tail started to swish and he took a step forward but as soon as he saw the Tom turn to leave he shouted “HEY WERE NOT DONE HERE” he took a stride towards the Tom his breath hot and his blood was boiling

Gorsefur smirked, turning back to Vinepaw. Oh, so its on? He mewed icily, his voice dripping with menace. He calmly unsheathed his claws, narrowing his eyes.

Vinepaw let out a shaky breath and nodded “It’s on” he said while gritting his teeth his tail lashing as he approached back he was a ball of many things anger fear confusion..but one thing he knew he had to fight
