They've spent the first few moments circling each other, waiting for the next move. Cautious but playful, Floodsight kept her body low and ready, almost brushing the cold pavement. In a blink of an eye, Waspmeadow had approached her. Agile, this one. She's always been. She hardly had the time to react as Waspmeadow latched onto her tail in attempts to knock her over.

Floodsight will let her try.

More like, she didn't have a choice.

She stumbled a little, but not enough to fall over. Floodsight whipped herself around to face her friend, letting her tail dragged the other warrior towards her. At this point anything could happen; afterall, Wasp could let go at any point. Floodsight grinned a little, anticipating her friend's next move.

Waspmeadow saw her friend stumble slightly and paused, a determined grin on her face. She let go, then striked Floodsight with a front paw, somewhat softly as to not actually hurt her friend. Despite this– she knew how strong Floodsight was, and the fact that she'd brush it off easily; Waspmeadow admired her friend for her tenacity and strength, the fact that she could knock her off her paws at any moment gave Waspmeadow a surge of adrenaline as the fight went on.

Ah, she'd let go! Floodsight wanted to take this chance to return a jab, but was caught by Waspmeadow's paw that landed right on her. Her him blue eyes gazed upon the golden molly's determined face and noticed a small smile. She was glad her friend was having as much fun as herself.

"Nice~" She had complimented, with a sideways grin, before jumping back a bit to reposition herself.

It was soft enough to avoid dodging, but Floodsight wasn't going to make this a light fight. A spar should be a spar as well as practice. So the silverish warrior took this chance to swipe at her friend's paw, pushing one of her paws off the ground, hoping to make Wasp loose her balance. And then maybe Floodsight could just get a tap in on Wasp's nose.

Waspmeadow knew the rules of sparring- she knew she shouldn't go soft on her friend, but something inside her prevented it. She tried to tell herself that it was just training, but the possibility of causing Floodsight any real harm irked her

After a moment of contemplation she zoned back in, looking over at Floodsight, "Thanks–" Waspmeadow chuckled, cut off by her friend's quick attack. Floodsight's manoeuvre caught her off-guard– the silverish she-cat swiped at her paw,  making her loose balance. She was close to hitting the ground, but she managed to catch herself, though not quick enough to avoid a further attack

Oh? That worked? Was that a little too sly for Floodsight? May haps, but it was a neat move to add to any arsenal. Probably won't work on larger cats though. She had kept that as a reminder to herself and it would be useful note to add for the next time she does battle training with Aspenpaw.

Floodsight took this chance to land a soft pat right on Waspmeadow's nose as the golden pelt warrior managed to get her footing. Floodsight sat up with a grin starting on her face. Her paws had left a little speck of dirt on Waspmeadow's nose. "Oh there's a bit of dirt here, let me get it for you."

She reached her paw out to help flick the small spot of dirt.

Waspmeadow managed to get herself back on her paws, chortling at Floodsight's quick-thinking; "I'll remember that" she chimed, glancing at the silver she-cat with a smug look. She stretched out, sitting down and wrapping her tail around her paws

Waspmeadow looked embrassed at Floodsight's statement, trying to frantically spot where the dirt was. As her friend reached out at flicked the dirt off her nose, she looked a little flushed, bowing her head slightly "thank you" she purred, pawing at her nose.

The silverish warrior flashed a small smirk before settling down herself. Seeing her friend frantically paw over the bit of dirt on her nose was adorable. She stifled a little laugh. Afterall, it was Floodsight's own actions that landed the little piece of dirt on her friends muzzle. But her dim blue eyes still held a playful spark as she gaze upon the golden molly who had settled.

After a luxurious stretch, Floodsight had yawned just a bit. It's a nice quick spar, something to get her all warmed up for the day. The spar had really distracted her from any certain worries she had previously. Though she wished they could gone out into the woods and back onto the sandy beaches of RiverClan territory, but this was this the relaxing event for the silver warrior.

"We should go for a walk of Lionsbeach when we get back~" Floodsight suggested. "Just to relax, stare at the water and do nothing."

She smiled at the thought of it. The crashing waves and open skies of Lionbeach. It was a great place for a peace of mind. Quiet, calm, and open.

Waspmeadow still looked slightly embarrassed, but rested her paw on the ground after a moment of rubbing her muzzle. She looked over at Floodsight, noticing her humoured expression, and looked away, pretending to be annoyed,  "hrmph" she exhaled playfully

Then she looked at her paws, a duchenne smile forming on her face. It was times like this that made Waspmeadow appreciate the little moments in life, worries seemed to melt away at these times– especially with Floodsight. There was something so soothing and affirming about her presence, even if she did beat Waspmeadow everytime they sparred.

The golden molly nodded, perching at the entrance of the twoleg den and fixing her gaze at the clouds making their way across the sky, "sounds perfect" she purred, tilting her head to lay her eyes Floodsight "let's find a good spot in the sun, I can already picture us enjoying the view together"

Floodsight stifled a little laugh at Waspmeadow's pretend annoyance. Her whisker slightly quivered from amusement. Floodsight swished her tail to the side before giving a small nod and a smile, "Deal~"

It would definitely be nice. A day off and Lionsbeach was a wonderful calm place. Take a picking at any birds or fish that manage to find their way along the beachside. The sooner they settle into their new camp that their leader would find, the sooner Floodsight and Waspmeadow could go on with their plans. But for now, the silver molly needed to get back on track. A little break with Waspmeadow was more than enjoyable. But time was up and she needed to get her apprentice's training sessions in order.

Floodsight stepped up onto her paws and gave way for a luxurious stretch before padding towards Waspmeadow. She brushed her pelt alongside her friends and purred, "Then, I best get going. Aspenpaw may be dying to get out of here. I'll see you next time. Yeah?"

Waspmeadow sat, thinking about how nice their trip would be by the rocky shoreline, looking out at the crashing waves, the open sky– but that would have to wait for now. At this point what was most important was the relocation of the clan. She knew that wherever Fadingstar decided to go was sure to be a lovely change of scenery, or at least she hoped. The golden-patched molly joined Floodsight in her stretch, outstretching her paws before her.

The spar had been just what she needed– she hadn't trained for quite a while so it was a nice refreshment. Floodsight's quick thinking had impressed her like always, and Waspmeadow began to ponder new ways to counter her attacks in future. Her thoughts were quickly interrupted by her friend's soothing voice, and Waspmeadow nodded, "Alright! Lovely to see you as always, Flood" she purred in response
