Snowleopard wasn’t quite sure how to approach the scenario, at this point. Usually she could be pretty empathetic, but… This was just very unfortunate. Would this cat be able to convince them–she wasn’t entirely sure at this point. Although she was usually very lenient, she could not say that she was feeling that way for the tom before her. “If you do not give us any more reason than that alone, I am afraid I will have to decline, as well.”

Glancing towards Rowanmist for a moment, whom seemed just as awkward and borderline confused as she was, but she said nothing of it.

Lichenflood lashed his tail from where he sat, still monitoring from the edge. He remained a no for the time being. Perhaps Swiftleap could still change his mind, but currently his lack of argument or passion wasn't winning him any points.

"Are you going to continue, or are you going to keep wasting everyone's time?" Lichenflood was getting fed up with this. "You've given us a whole lot of nothing. It isn't our job to sell you to us, if you want us to consider letting you back you have to argue for yourself.

"All you've said is you regreted your past actions and want another chance to fix it. Is there anything else you wanted to add to add to that, or shall we just wrap it up here with you gawkin' at us?"

Swiftleap seemed to have nothing planned out, which told Lichenflood that another opportunity would likely end in another failure. What he wanted from Swiftleap was actual self-reflection and some sort of gameplan, even if just rudimentary, to help him get on the track to success.

" I tried to help those in need. My friend who now walks amongest are old clan was here. I helped her find her way back to her body so she may walk among Windclan again. My own Brother who also walks with old friends had a friend he wanted me to watch over and play with. I may not have a strong will, but the deeds I've done must mean something. "

The russet feline visibly relaxed once the other began to actually speak. He was about two seconds from fully denying and simply walking out, unable to deal with the uncomfortable silence for too long.

"Well if that were the case, almost everyone in StarClan should be granted a second chance at life, now wouldn't they?" he said. "A good deed, is only a good deed as long as you don't expect something out of it..." well...it wasn't really looking good for the tom. What would the others say?

It just wasn’t… Convincing. This whole interaction had turned her outlook on Swiftleap’s possible return to the living upside down on its head. She sighed, glancing over to Rowanmist for a moment–it was a very good point that her presented.

She was leaning towards saying no. Tipping her head to the side, she offered Swiftleap a pitiful smile. “Many cats have done good things in their lives. Good and bad–but, if everyone came to us and presented all of those good things, would that mean that we would allow all of them to return? I–I’m sorry, but I am tempted to tell you no.”

She hadn’t quite made her decision yet–blame her for being a little bit sympathetic, but by the looks of it, she was seriously considering denying him at this point.

Lichenflood lashed his tail. He felt he had pushed this cat enough for something-- anything to make him stand out from the others in queue-- but all he got so far was very basic answers. "No wonder you don't see the value in death," salt laced every word. "Considering you're one of the very cats who saw it fit to let anyone and their mother return to the living. It remains a no from me."

At this point, his answer was final. Perhaps Swiftleap could convince the other two, but Lichenflood was done.
