Planetarium Stickers [Basic Hunting]

Beekit beamed at the praise. She put her head back down and started moving forward, concentrating on holding her pose and keeping her tail up. Unfortunately, she forgot to concentrate on where she was going. Beekit yelped as she tripped over a rock and fell face first into the dirt. "Whoops!" She got up and went back into her crouch.

Breaking out of his thoughts the tom caught on a little too late. Why did he have to get distracted? Not wanting to waste more time Sootkit got into the best crouch he could think of. His body was all the way low to the ground and his legs were so spread out his body was to stiff to move.

Sedgestorm turned to check up on Sootkit since Beekit seemed to be doing good.
"Not quite, Sootkit, but its a good start! Let's try again with standing."
If the newly named kit needed it, he would have helped the small tom up.
Once he was sure Sootkit was good to continue, the scarred tom showed him how to crouch.
"Alright, try mimicking me, and I'll give you tips from there."

His head swiveled back to Beekit as she squeaked as she fell.
"Are you alright, Beekit?"
Once they both seemed to have a handle on this, they could get to specifics.

"Yeah!" Beekit mewed, still moving forward, "Do I just jump forward once I get close enough?"

Okay he was doing it completely wrong. No wonder it was so uncomfortable. Standing like normal he watched the warrior show him the crouch. Okay seemed good enough. Sootkit did exactly what the warrior did, his tail moving side to side. He looked at Sedgestorm. "Is this better?", he asked.

Sedgestorm nods to both of the kits.
"You're both doing good! Now that we have the crouch down, try stalking forward as quietly as possible. Keep your balance and try to evenly distribute your weight through your paws."

Sedgestorm sighed. He'd have to consider this class to be wrapped up. His assistant wasn't there and the other attendants didn't seem interested.
"Beekit, Sootkit. You both did good today. If you want more in depth training, you can come to me again, but I'm afraid I have other classes to get to."
He felt guilty that he couldn't spend more time with specific groups. But he also enjoyed the several classes he teached and didn't think he could choose between just one of it came down to it.

Beekit stopped practicing her crouching and began walking away from the training area. "Thank you for the lesson Sedgestorm!"

Sedgestorm trotted to the Kit Corral. There were lessons in the days schedule.
Two kits had asked for some basic hunting, Wishkit and Kitekit.
Since his last hunting lesson, he'd learned from his mistakes. He didn't know why he hadn't though of turning it all into a game sooner, perhaps then he would have kept the attention of his last group.
His tail swished behind him once.
"Wishkit, Kitekit. Are we ready to begin?"
