Claws Ready [THC Battle Training Event]

A pair of tattered ears angled towards Baybreeze as the other warrior's voice sounded from across the camp, and Hawkcatcher was already heading towards the gathering cats even before the training was mentioned (this was a clan activity, she ought to show example by participating), but it was certainly to her delight. Other warriors taking the initiative with these sorts of things was always a pleasure, and even more so when it was something like battle training, which most certainly would come in handy in the near future.

Spotting one of her current apprentices already present, Hawkcatcher decided to join them, giving Dawnpaw a short nod of acknowledgement before her amber eyes quickly scanned the camp to see if the other one was also free to participate. "Foxpaw?" Maybe they were busy, but it would kill two mice with one swipe if she could teach both of her apprentices simultaneously.

Alpinepaw walked to the clutter of cats, as she was interested. Maybe, she could join in. She sniffed the air and thought, "Oh boy, will I be alone in this training event?" Alpinepaw was normally pessimistic.

She stiffened and carefully watched the others. The young cat knew she didn't dare to ask since she was too afraid.

Snowkit's head instantly shot up at the mention of training. She raced over, tail streaming behind her. "Hi! Hi!! Can I join??" she mewed, eyes gleaming enthusiastically. She glanced around, looking for someone to partner up with. Spotting a lonesome cat, she scampered over and looked at them with her icy blue eyes. "I'm Snowkit!" She mewed. "Wanna be partners??" Snowkit wriggled her shoulders, a little ball of energy. Wow! Training! I'm sooo excited, she thought. I can't wait until I'm an apprentice!!

Snowkit looked up at the cat hopefully.

Alpinepaw felt fur brush past her pelt. She turned to see Tremblepaw, glancing over his shoulder, searching for a partner. He seemed unaware that he had even brushed past her.

"Great!" She mewed, bouncing on her paws a little. "What'll we learn first? Crouching? Attacking? Defending??" She mewed enthusiastically. She dropped to a crouch, not waiting for an answer, and this is how the crouch looked like. her paws were uneven, her tail was waving around all over the place to balance herself. She quickly attempted to shoot herself forward into Hollyheart, but completely missing and landing on her side.

"-Oof!" she grunted, but immediately jumped to her paws, undaunted "That was awesome! Wasnt it? Wasn't it?? Will you show me how to do it correctly? Please??" She begged, eyes shining.

Also, when Snowkit is ready to be an Apprentice, can Hollyheart be her mentor?

"Okay!!" Snowkit mewed, her tail sticking straight up in delight. She immediately went into the crouch again, remembered that Hollyheart had told her to slow down, and scrambled to her paws. I'm gonna learn the hunters crouch! she thought, eyes shining. This is soo cool!!
"How do we do it? Isn't there different crouches for different prey? I wanna learn them all!" she mewed, her words spilling over each other in her eagerness.

She paused for a moment, tilting her head to the side. "Wait a minute... Isn't this a battle training event?" She mewed, confused.
