Mock battle? Falconfeather's mouth twitch upright at his half-brother's call, eyes gleaming slightly. Hell yeah! He needed to brush up on his battle skills anyway, s as a medicine cat, he would get too rusty on his fighting. His you be clicked as he slipped snakes like out of the medicine den,.smelling strongly of burdock as he reached Rushwater, a grin on his face. "I'd ya don't mind, I'll join, haha." He needed the extra practice anyway, good time to key out some pent up angry and frustration too.

Rushwater had decided to host a mock battle? This should be fun, and a great opportunity to stretch her muscles after little action lately - not that it was a bad thing, no reason to get into any fights was always welcome, but it was never good to go without practice for too long.
Falcon, Rush and Shatter all went for Blue team, so, as she approached, Larkwing called out "Mind if I join the Red Team?"

Sleekfur had recovered enough from his injury that the tripod was able to hobble over. He tried to avoid the stares his clanmates gave him for only having three legs after his battle with foxes. "I...I'd like to join, if you don't mind. I don't really care what team I'm on."

Hearing Rushwater's call for some battle training Falcon couldn't refuse. Striding up immediately he caught wind of Falconfeather and his half brothers being on Blue team and Larkwing being on red team he quickly padded up to them.
Flashing a confident smile of greeting at the other cats he didn't waste anytime to speak "Well guess I'll join you sis can't leave ya hanging! Red team for me as well!" he mewed cheerily, mabye he'd get to be captain or at least co-captain!
Bluestone was napping in thecamp clearing when he heard about the mock battle, the one eyed tom rolled his eyes and got up. Could be interesting but who knows, He walked over to the gathering cats and looked at rushwater"Hello rushwater, the mock battle souds interesting mind if i join?" he asked flicking his bushy tail

I felt falling and Alone. I'd never grow old and decided. It wasn’t time to go.
As the ship roared past, I stayed. As I had come. Lost. Alone. Empty.
Somewhere. Something. Had brought me here. But what?
Ooh, what was this? Now this excited Cherryswirl! Something to bring the clan together, hopefully, after what felt like a horribly tense moon. No one could complain about a little game! So, eyes alight with excitement, the molly quickly strode over, along with a good few other clanmates.
"Great idea, Rushwater! Been looking a bit dreary around here, hasn't it?" She mewed, her tone upbeat as usual. Golden eyes quickly scanned around the gathering felines - spotting the now three-legged Sleekfur offering to join as well. Guilt prickled in her paws, her smile threatening to twist downwards as she smacked her lips dryly,
"I'll be on the BLUE team with ya! Don't have to worry about me beating you otherwise, hm?" Cherryswirl and Rushwater had become more acquaintance-d during their time spent on patrols, so she wasn't worried about the other taking any ill-meaning to her light-hearted joke. It would have been clear she was only joking anyway, by the massive grin stretched across her features. Her tail swayed behind her, seemingly lost in thought for a moment before she spoke up again, "Oh! Rushwater, why don't you bring Sleekfur over to the BLUE team as well?" Her glance rested back on the tripod, before she nudged her way over to him. Cherry hadn't seen him since... well, since she had brought him to the medicine den after their little fox fiasco.
"Sleekfur," She greeted gently, dipping her head respectfully though she spoke with genuine concern, "How are you feeling? I hope you don't mind, but I offered you up for the blue team along with me."
rushwater tried to stifle the slight distaste that bubbled in his chest as a familiar voice- falconfeather’s -caught his ears as the first to join his battle, and to his side no less? he didn’t hate or even dislike his half-brother, no, but he’d harbored resentments to most of his blood-family. they were the chosen litter, they were preferred by their mother unlike he, whom- though he had not been shunned -was all but nothing to their shared parent. rushwater had done everything in his power to cut the knowledge of his shared blood from himself, and carve his way as his own cat, but he supposed nothing he could do would permit him escape from his lineage.
“glad to have you, falconfeather.”
a young apprentice that he recognized as silver paw approached, and declared he’d like to be rushwater’s co-captain. amused and a bit impressed by the audacity, rushwater hummed; “i’ll definitely consider it, silverpaw. tell me, are you any good at planning?”
rushwater felt the faint rush of excitement when nightspark joined the group, seeing as having a lionheart would prove this endeavor a bit more fun. sparring with other warriors would be a great opportunity to improve. “welcome to the fun, nightspark, would you be interested in leading the red team? your co-captain and strategy would be up to you.”
it was a good idea to chose a red-team captain that was about on the same level as himself since this game was so heavily swayed in favor of strategy over raw strength. while, if it came down to claw-to-claw, rushwater doubted his ability to overpower the tom, he could hopefully prove a good opponent in a battle of wits and war, provided he accepted the offer at least.
