Mai lifted her arms, the faint definition of muscle visible beneath the long sleeves of her uniform. Balanced gracefully on the tree branch at the butterfly mansion, her haori hung from another nearby limb. With a silent determination, she leaped into the air, her body twisting with practiced precision. In a fluid motion, she landed softly on the very branch she had just vacated, her hands finding purchase effortlessly.
With each slow breath, Mai began a series of movements, her legs extending and retracting in a rhythmic pattern—left, then right, left, then right. As she moved, her black hair streaked with vibrant green highlights flowed around her. Her bright white eyes remained fixed on an unseen focus point.
