Bluebird she/her - 15 moons content notes: themes of grief
Morning. The she-cat felt herself awake, but didn't open her eyes. She simply buried her nose further under her skinny tail. No, not today. Today she'd stay here. Cosy in her nest, all day. What need was there, for going out? Then time passed, then some more, and some more. Her neck became still, her legs were going fuzzy from the weight... This wouldn't work, would it? Eyes opening, she saw that the light out there was already bright. Cats would be around. Everywhere. So that was it, she had to either be uncomfortable or surround herself with the whole of The Atari?? Were there really no good options here? She pressed her head into her nest, groaning. What even was this? It still didn't feel real. Every time she woke up, she was certain that she'd open her eyes to see her siblings around her, everyone getting up, ready to start the day. That they'd all be talking a little too loud for her liking, keeping her from a nice lie in... Now where were they? Dispersed across separate dens? In the den of a literal mountain lion?? Sure, Nyx was the crown now, but did that really mean moving the entire family out? Yes. She knew the answer was yes. As were the rules. And she was not one to break the rules of The Atari. So, her world split before her, and she simply had to watch it. She wished she could climb out of her own body, be apart from all this just for a while. Paws became restless. Her heart began to beat in what could be fury or fear, she had no idea. Just this burning feeling. This burning terrible feeling that meant she couldn't be here right now. With that, she stood up. Paws raced out of the den, then out of the camp.
She was running through the mountains. No clear destination, but her paws would guide her where they always did. She sniffed. What was this, tears coming back? A groan escaped her as she ran. Not once in her life had she ever felt like this. She'd felt a myriad of things, but this?? It were as though every possible bad thing had congealed into one. Was she too weak for this journey? Sure, maybe. But it's not like that often stopped her. Unless someone forced her to stop, she'd be at the Glimmerall. She could stay there, and she could sleep there. Just for a night....

Altair
|| different from the training event ||
Altair’s eyes whipped up from the meager prey collection, where she had been grumbling about finding someone to head out for some hunting, to the fast movement cutting across home. Then before she reacted to a threat, she realized that it was merely one of the family’s own. Bluebird? Maybe? Blue petal? Altair wasn’t sure but she was sure that Bluebird shouldn’t running around alone outside of home. There are a thousand and one threats out there and it’s like she had a death wish. She was on her paws in the next second and shot after the other feline. “Bluebird!” The lithe form of Altair called out, was she heading to the glimmerall? Damn. If she entered that would take talking off the table as per traditions. They didn’t need to bring home sprits on top of everything else he family was dealing with.
“Its dangerous to be out here alone!” Altair called out hoping to have the feline stop so that they didn’t raise any curious attention on themselves by whatever is lurking in the shadows. Not like you can talk at a normal level when chasing after someone. Altair tried to keep the annoyance off of her face but seriously, what was this cat thinking? Or was she at all?

[diff time to training event] Bluebird she/her - 15 moons
She hadn't even made it far, barely exited, before she heard a voice call out to her. Was it worth turning round? Yes. She could get this cat off her tail, then she could keep moving. Paws skidded to a halt, and the Molly turned around, hissing under her breath. "What!?" she called, before realising who it was. Altair. Darn. Anyone else, she would have given them a piece of her mind, but this was Nyx's family, right? Saturn chose Nyx, and this was Nyx's family, so... So she couldn't be an ass. That, and she couldn't be going round yelling hat the crown's family, could she? Her own logic had finally been turned on her - by herself, that is.
She knew it was dangerous, sure, but she didn't really care. It wasn't like she had the skill to fight off any potential danger, but she couldn't let that confine her to camp. Tail waving behind her, she stared at the floor. She was acting like an initiate again, wasn't she? Oh, spirits. She bit her tongue, pausing for a moment as she thought of what to say. Still, she couldn't get pleasant words out of her mouth, nor could she say she'd come back to camp. "I'm just... Taking some time out. That's all." She mumbled, eventually gazing up, tear stained eyes rising to meet theirs. That should be enough... Right? The keeper blinked awkwardly, hoping for some kind of miraculous and impossible 'oh really! Okay have fun!'
Hawfinch was laying in the sun when he felt the intrigue of the hunt pulling at him. His ears perked up at the sound of far away leaves rustling as he opened his eyes. With a determined flick of his tail, he stood up, brushing off the warmth of rest. His eyes lit up with enjoyment as he whispered, "Time to stretch my legs." Padding near the boundary of the area, he prepared to find a new smell and resume the wild chase. The lure of the hunt was too strong for him to ignore the outside world was beckoning.

the one of curious mind and young heart.

Caspian had a bit of pep in her step today as she padded out of her den. She sat in the clearing, looking around as the fellow cats, big and small, walked around. Some came in with prey, others seemed to be doing as she was; waiting for instruction or something to do. And so she sat, awaiting something. She didn't know what she was waiting for, just...something.
Juniper padded through her along silky coat brushed against the mountainous terrain her thick paws were use to it, but it was weird when they hurt. The claw sighed as she sat down her long tabby tail brushed over her white paws as green hues scanned the clearing.
The strong broad shoulder molly walked through camp holding a large rabbit in her maw. Gently Brutus placed down the rabbit in the makeshift kill pile life had bee quite recently maybe too quiet now with those clan cats gone things had died down...The claw let out a long sigh sitting down digging at the rocky grown with her bone white claws.

★ — — > Blair wasn’t no ordinary she-cat.
★ Being in the Atari had its ups and downs. In her youth, she had quite the connection to a former healer. Everything seemed to line up for her perfectly, and she even wanted to be a healer. She wasn’t hurt when she didn’t get it, rather, quite excited for her to explore other roles within the Atari. She had tried being a claw, but turns out, she didn’t really have the heart to fight or hunt… Then came the role of trappers, which made complex traps so the claws could hunt for the Atari… With the lack of any logical thoughts going through her brain, it wasn’t a surprise that she was terrible at that too. It was unfortunate but she knew some cats just weren’t built for stuff like that.
★ Blair believed that skills could be taught, but only if you have the capability to learn them. Her hypothesis proved itself correct over and over again, which is why she resides as a keeper. Kittens weren’t all that bad… Loud, whiny, and covered in their own poop every other morning… After washing herself for the twentieth time this moon, she was stressed. Blair never understood how things got so messed up. Sure, she wasn’t meant to be a healer, but that left the question of what she was really supposed to be… She couldn’t fight, couldn’t hunt, was terrible at planning traps, and was beginning to hate the youth of the Atari. That basically meant she only had one job left, an Initiate, which basically trained for those roles. The idea of being grouped with even more youth made her upset.
★ Blair wonders what exists outside the Atari, and if there is really a place for her at all… Licking the water out of her fur, she sat in the camp…
Life...had been tough on her lately. With her sister, Saturn, missing since leading a patrol to that horrible beast's den. Camilla had assumed the worst. No doubt she had been slaughtered with some of her other dear Atarimates. So here she was, quietly grieving in a croner of their camp, trying to hide herself from whomever may find her. She had to appear strong at least...for them.
Tufted ears swivelled at the sound of pawsteps entered and made dor their prey pile. Though her sight impairment didn't allow her to physically see who it was she knew the scent. Brutus. The strong she cat had always seemed intriguing. Maybe...a conversation would lift her spirits? Brutus' too by that sigh.
"Fine hunting, Brutus? Seems like quite the catch" The pretty trapped cooed as she drifted towards the broad shouldered tabby. Dipping her head she softly nosed the newly added rabbit in inspection before turning back to Brutus with a sweet smile. "Perhaps one day I can assist you on a hunt, my traps will surely be a help" The offer was genuine and Camilla was secretly desperate for an escape though she tried to keep a light hearted demeanour. Tilting her head and batting her long eyelashes she asked: "What do you say?"
Brutus was looking down at the ground trying drown the world out from around her not giving much thought to what was going on around her till a voice caught her attention, oh the voice was talking to her the molly’s golden eyes looked to the trapper camilla was complimenting her hunt brutus gave a smile “ Thank you, it was a nice catch ‘ she meowed back watching them nose the rabbit. After Camilla turned back towards her she offered to go on a hunt in a way “ That sounds nice I'm sure trapping things is better than trying to just catch it. “ brutus purred the kill pile was small even with the rabbit it still needed more food more was better than nothing. Brutus stood up dipping her head slightly “ Hmm sure why not? she meowed, flickering her tail to lead the way for a hunt.

The claw sat on a stone, a narrowed blue gaze scanned the cats in the tribe. There hadn’t been trouble lately, within or outside the Atari. Boring… but the time had already had enough trouble at the same time. The most disappointing thing for him was the fact cats seemed to be slacking. The tribe had to be strong. As strong as possible at least, and this wasn’t it. He shook his head, averting his gaze from the camp up to the wide, open sky.
