Checkers started walking and turned her head to talk to him. "Great, follow me. I know a good spot for-" She paused and turned around to ask a question. "Wait, so what's your favorite prey? I know a couple spots where different prey reside. I mean, some prey. Your not a fish lovin' tom are you? Hopefully not, because I hate the water. Though I do know a pond where some of them are. But there's a dog there. It's quite mean." She continued ranting on, not even waiting for his response.

She took a moment to think before responding. "Voles are easier to find. Those starlings are always finding new spots... Hmm. This way, come on." She pointed her tail towards a field with trees at the end of it. "The forest pass that field have some voles near it. We might even find some on the way, so try to be quiet." She meowed starting to walk silently that way.
/ That's good [=. Do you do any sports or any clubs in school? I do softball and might do volleyball next year (school year? Idk what to call it lol) , idk yet tho bc that's kind of a lot ._. /

He nodded, he was good at being quiet. quiet was pretty much his middle name, kinda.
(I do not do sports  all the sports a do I come home with bruises cuz I'm weeaaak ;n; )

Checkers sniffed the air as she walked across the field. It seemed as if there were no voles here today. "I don't smell any voles here. Hopefully we will have some luck in the forest." She meowed, venturing on.
/ Lol I have a lot of bruises too, but mostly bc I'm clumsy (and my throwing partner keeps throwing at my legs). I keep accidently hitting myself with my bat  ... /

Soon she arrived at the forest. Whilst looking around she heard some shuffling. She stood still, her focus scattering around until she spotted it. Quickly, she dropped into a crouch, and looked around for Ranboo.

Ranboo got distracted by a flower, a rose to be exact, he thought it looked nice. he sat by it, looking at it closely.

Checkers
Checkers started to approach the vole before pouncing. She nearly missed - well that was until she accidently let it slip away from her paws. "No! Ugh..." She groaned, turning to find Ranboo looking at a flower! "What in starclan are you doing - you're supposed to be hunting-" She stopped, realizing she sounded like a clan can. Shrinking back, she walked over and sat down next to him to look at the flower as well. "Sorry."
