{So sorry for the wait! ^^}
Dewberry trod behind Echopool, his pace only a step or two behind the tuxedo molly's quickened pace. Dull olive eyes peered at his surroundings with a strange hint of boredom, the Maine coon finding the whole patrol scene quite uninteresting and, quite frankly, a waste of his time. Still, he knew best than to speak his mind when his thoughts so defiantly disagreed with the code his clan had sworn to live by. The code he often chose to disregard, thinking of it as nothing more than a way for Fallenstar to rid his clan members of any personal thoughts and opinions; a pathetic attempt at making them undeniably loyal. Foxbrain The tom thought to himself, large paws dragging beneath him dramatically as he made it his mission to make his boredom obvious without having to explicitly say it aloud. His interest finally peaked when tension thickened the air around them, the patrol drawing eerily silent as all eyes peered out upon a Skyclan patrol; finally something fun! Dewberry was foolish for wishing for a fight, but it was perhaps the only reason he'd even agreed to come on this stupid patrol in the first place. The odd tom smirked ever so slightly, his claws unsheathing beneath him as he analysed the reactions of his clanmates. Don't get him wrong, he had great respect for all members of Riverclan - and Skyclan, too, for that matter (despite the fact they'd helped drive them out of their home, that is). He just found it funny how intent on avoiding war everyone in Riverclan was, and how divided all opinions within the clan were at the given time. It was humorous to watch all the endless bickering, it kept Dewberry entertained to say the very least. He prepared himself for a fight, but made no sudden moves - he hadn't forgotten his place within the patrol, and the tom was still mindful to allow Echopool to lead. He glanced to her, eying her up as he awaited orders on what to do next.

At the mention of dealing with Fallenstar the warrior stiffened. She wasn't sure what to say so she simply offered a murmur that could be thought of as agreement or disagreement. Mistfall had become friends with Fallenstar when he was still the deputy - the two putting aside their differences for Russetswirl's sake - and he was currently her closest friend. But... recent events are reminding her why they were initially enemies. He was righteous though not always right and had a thing against cats with authority since he assumed that they were all trying to take advantage of his power. It was no surprise that he had trying antagonizing the other leaders, as Firehawk had pointed out, but she wished that he had stopped and thought about it beforehand. Though Mistfall was aware of these fault - and genuinely annoyed by Fallenstar and his decisions - she was still trying to be his friend and be there for him. That's why she had to join the peacemakers. It was for Fallenstar's and Riverclan's best.

Mistfall instinctively glanced towards the direction of the camp as Firehawk did before turning back to him. She had thought a similar thing about Fallenstar when Russetswirl had appointed him deputy: how could he pick someone like him. Even after speaking with their former leader she still questioned it. Russetswirl explained that he had chosen Fallenstar because the warrior had different views and opinions than him and therefore would be able to make him think in different ways instead of having somebody that thinks just like him. She still didn't see why it was Fallenstar, he could have chosen someone that he got along with, someone that would be willing to take over the clan when needed, someone who wouldn't pick fights with the other leaders when they could just stay out of it.

Guilt clawed at her stomach as she reminded herself that she and Fallenstar were friends. Close friends. But she still felt jealousy towards him since Russetswirl had chosen him as their deputy - a role that she had desperately wanted despite not deserving it.

How can you tell? Mistfall stopped herself from questioning the tom in charge of the patrol. She did not know this territory, and honestly, everything looks awry and a mess. "I don't think predators would really ant to live here even if Skyclan never showed up," the warrior muttered as she glanced around the area again, a cold shiver ran up her spine for no reason. Mistfall quickly turned back at his longing statement of wishing to return home. She thought of the soft territory, the gentle scents and the river. The river was her favorite place to be. She enjoyed simply swimming around in the cool fresh water or listening to it bubbling along or even watching its beauty in the cold seasons. These little things she hadn't thought of until now, previously only concerning herself the fact that they had been driven out and being angry with everyone that let this happen rather than what they had actually lost. Her gaze softened more as he added that this place was not fit for a clan. Though the two did not know each other that much, she was aware that he had a mate and kits that had recently become apprentices. He must be worried about them... her thoughts traveled to Ashpaw - her adopted daughter that she knew she should spend more time with. "How is your family settling into this change?"

Milkywillow tensed as she saw the RiverClan patrol. She didn’t wish for a fight to break out and just wanted to go back to the territory. She looked to Tirtlebright for the orders of what to do next. Milkywillow locked eyes with a cat on patrol for a second and looked to the cats around her. The SkyClan cat looked at the cats on her patrol and awaited a command from Turtlebright. She scanned the trees and peered at another cat only to quickly look to the ground.

Firehawk hadn't attended any of the peacemaker meetings, although he was aware of them and agreed with their stance. He had chosen a neutral path, one in which he had no intention of rallying, but if given the opportunity he'd fight beside them for the sake of the Clan and his family. He was never one to throw himself into the middle of conflict, it wasn't in his nature-- there was a reason why he had survived since Fallowstar's leadership, through several wars and a dark era.

He had never been close to a leader, had little experience with the decisions that came with the role. The nearest he'd been was his friendship with Spritefire, Fallowstar's spirited daughter who became a close friend early on in his Clan career.

Eyes flicking to Mistfall, he considered her question. Iceflower was doing fine, and it seemed their kits were alright too, despite some of the questionable things he knew his sons were doing. "They're fine," he answered. "I know it's been a hard transition, but they're adjusting well. I know they can't wait to get back home." And Firehawk couldn't either, he was tired of the shrouded forest. No matter where they went, it seemed devoid of life. "How has your daughter been settling in?" He was fairly certain Mistfall had adopted a young she-cat, but it was possible he was incorrect. This was the first time he spoke directly to her, and it was difficult to keep track of the many Clan-mates he'd seen throughout his lifetime.

Ebony ears flicked and he swiveled his head, seeing a group of cats making their way over to the Skyclan patrol. ’Of course.’ he thought to himself. Quickly shooting his clan members a worried look he hopped down ”Let’s not try to start a fight, okay? We can settle this peacefully.” he told his patrol, the young warrior didn’t feel like getting into a physical fight. At least, not over something petty and he wasn’t sure how Shinefang would feel about his former apprentice winding up in the medicine cat den, all beaten up. He tried his best to calm himself down, his heart was pounding in his chest and he could hear the blood rushing in his ears. Last time they encountered Riverclanners they drove them out of their home, he prayed to StarClan they were too tired to fight today.

Once he got closer he gave the Riverclanners a dip of his head, emerald hues met emerald hues as he locked gazes with Echopool. Panic set in as he saw that her claws were unseathed, his fur fluffed up and he shifted himself into a defensive stance. ’Of course they weren’t going to walk away peacefully!’ he scolded himself, tail flicking signaling for Fennelheart, Milkywillow, and Cloudheart to come closer. Oh gosh he was terrified! ”We’re going to have to ask you to step away.” he commanded as he’s he could, trying hard to keep his voice from wavering. ”There’s no fish over here for you so look somewhere else.”

As the molly listened to the SkyClan cat’s words she bared her teeth. The tuxedo was known to be a bit fistey at times and she narrowed her yellow gaze into a tight squint “Really, we have as much right to be here as you do.” She said with a snarl escaping her black mouth. She flattened her ears and bushes out her fur as she watched them, she looked back at her patrol and tilted her head forward telling them to advance, she wasn’t going to let these SkyClan jerks tell her what to do they had driven her clan away, they had nicked her ear. A scar she now lives with forever she couldn’t escape what they had done to her.
If this cat wanted a fight, a fight he would get. She snarled at him a more and more of a hostile look creeping in her eyes. She flicked her black tail back and fourth her sleek fur shined although there was a chance that it would rain at any moment. “And we don’t want anything from your territory” she spat “Squirrel breath.” She added before taking a step closer her yellow eyes shining with anger.

He was fairly certain Mistfall had adopted a young she-cat, but it was possible he was incorrect. This was the first time he spoke directly to her, and it was difficult to keep track of the many Clan-mates he'd seen throughout his lifetime.

She nodded as he explained that they had some difficulty but were doing well. The warrior was glad that her clan-mates were able to adjust to these troubling times. She knew that they all yearned to return to their old camp, but she hoped that they hung in there. No one was sure how long they would be forced to live out here, everybody wishing for this to be all over. Mistfall knew that this wasn't over and it wouldn't end soundly, no matter what happened. Her mind briefly wondered to the time when Riverclan had to live with Shadowclan moons ago due to the flood. It was so strange. Shadowclan had taken Riverclan in at that time, and now they helped drive Riverclan out of their own territory. The relationships between the clans were so fragile and easily switched from ally to rival. It was annoying.

The molly was brought out of these thoughts as Firehawk brought up her daughter. "Ashpaw seems to be doing fine. I just feel bad for her. She had joined the clan not long before all of this happened and I worry that it may be too much for her. She probably didn't expect these kinds of things when she first joined. I want to protect her from this kind of troubles.... But she's so strong for staying loyal to Riverclan through all of this," pride warmed her heart and tone as she said the last bit. Mistfall wished that she spent more time with Ashpaw, but she wasn't exactly sure how to be a good parents. Perhaps she had rushed into things when she adopted the helpless kit moons ago. She had adopted another kit - Yukon - right after she had become the age of a warrior though she had lived as a rogue during the last bits of her apprenticeship to a few moons after she was old enough to be a warrior. She was so impulsive then, becoming mates with her best friend at the time and adopting a kit together despite being way too young to be able to take on that responsibility. Not Yukon hates her and the two haven't spoken in so long, neither of them knew what happened to the other. Mistfall feared the thought that Ashpaw might grow to dislike her and they would become estranged as well.

Ears flattened in embarrassment as her stomach gave off a sudden and angry growl. Pale blue gaze slid around the area again, this time scanning for signs of food. She didn't remember the last time she ate. Did I eat yesterday? She had been so stressed over Riverclan's move and joining the peacemakers against Fallenstar in secret to really keep track of when she ate. Flicking her tail she turned back to the orange and white tom. "Maybe we should hunt? Bring a few fresh-kills back to camp for the clan?" Firehawk seemed convinced that nothing was out of the ordinary here so it should be fine to switch to hunting, right? The clan wasn't doing too well with prey as of late. Putting aside the fact that prey was getting more and more scarce as the season grew colder, they did not have the river that they did back in their true territory. Few of their clan-mates knew how to hunt land-prey since they were use to hunting fish in the river so there was never a need for them to learn how to hunt things like birds, mice and moles. Mistfall had heard that Firehawk use to be a loner prior to living in Riverclan and believed that that might mean that he can hunt land-prey. She, too, had learned how to in the moons that she lived as a rogue, though it was far from impressive and only knew enough to keep from starving.

Milkywillow was I suprised by the RiverClanners words but they were advancing so she looked to Turtlebright to see if he wanted them to advance on the RiverClan patrol. She didn’t wish for a fight but her fur stood on end and she was shifting paws and ducking her tail back and forth. Her eyes flicked around and she locked eyes with Dewberry and narrowed her eyes, then looking away. She looked back to Turtlebright for a command. Milkywillow sears pricked at the remark from Echopool and narrowed her eyes at the tuxedo cat her pelt bristled however she didn’t move awaiting Turtlebright to speak.

At Turtlebright's words the tri colored molly flattened her ears. Who did he think he was? She was obviously older, same with Echopool who was in charge of this patrol. It was quite irritating having a younger cat think they had authority over you even if they were from different Clans. Out of the corner of her pastel blue eyes the female tried once more to determine what her Clanmates were up too. Anglewing had the hardest times when no one spoke up because she could never follow all the silent messages and signals. Body language that was as simple as tail signals was so hard to understand. Yeah she sometimes did them herself without realization but that was just how she was.
At the tuxedo's comment the molly couldn't agree more. These cats couldn't tell them they couldn't be here. With the sign Angel advanced her tail beginning to lash behind her. Mouse brains will they ever learn common since? You don't start battles you can't win. She thought letting out a huff. Honestly she could feel the one emotion that really stood out to her, hostility. She'd felt that towards her more times then she could remember. Stopping she scanned over the SkyClan patrol. Oh how she wanted to say something, put them in their place but she didn't want to disrespect Echopool, Fallenstar had put her in charge. Anglewing had to accept that and not seem like a disrespectful warrior to the other Clan. That'd give them a reason to nag them.
