the small brown kitten strutted out of the nursery, his long white tail twitched in annoyance. who the hell is yowling about this hour? im gonna bite their tai- his thoughts trailed off as he realized this was one of those events that the other cats often talked about. he eyed the cat who looked to be in charge and waddled up. maybe this will be fun. if its childish i can always step out...right?

almondmilk lays in firs nest, sleeping the day away. dreams of delicious prey that looked like fish, but wasn't. or, fir was. their eyes flutter open at the sound of their name being called, spotting lilycreek. "eeeh.." they mumble, confused for a split second before glow remembers. oh yeah, they had that thing with the kits and apprentices that they were going to help with, didn't they? stretching out glows limbs, glow clambers out of their nest before strolling after lilycreek into the clearing. the tabby takes a seat as the mollu calls for the kits and apprentices, watching them all gather around. one even crashes into a den, yikes. luckily, it looks like sedgestorm has it handled.

Kitekit was now a whole 1 moon old. That was pretty old by her standards. She was noticeably excited by the way she flexed her paws, "I wanna play!"

"Alright, let's re-join the others, then."
He moved to guide Ravenkit back to the group, giving a nod to almondmilk as he passed where fir stood.
His ears perked up as he saw Bouncepaw, remembering when he'd helped train him. He chirped to the calico apprentice.

--the call of cloudedcry's name upon the other warriors drew him out of the den alongside lilycreek. gazing upon the kits and apprentices that gathered, he smiled. the young children had always had a spot in his heart – a real softie for the littles, he was. cloudedcry sat around the small kits and apprentices, tail swaying invitingly. looking to gingerpaw ( @mooncake ), kitekit ( @bunnipop ) and otterkit ( @Yugo. ), cloudedcry invited them over. “gingerpaw, otterkit, you two look lonely – and kitekit, we'll be playing soon, don't worry. come sit with me, you three.” anyone else could join them, cloudedcry wouldn't stop them, but it seemed these two needed a bit of attention. “are you guys excited?”

Gingerpaw looked up at the warrior. She had been a little lonely, and was happy someone had noticed. She didn't want to brood her way through the game. She was... well, she was hoping to talk to an apprentice. But this'll do! "Hello Cloudedcry," she said, bowing her head respectfully. "What do you suppose we're doing here today?" she asked, hoping he had more intel on the situation than she. The purpose of this odd gathering was rather shrouded in mystery and Gingerpaw looked forward to further details being revealed soon.

Rainglow peeked across the clearing at what was going on. A game? He... wanted to play a game. BUT, that would be embarrassing! No no no, he couldn't. But he wanted to. Ok, list the pros and cons. Pros: I'd get to play a fun game...! And that's it. Now cons... Warriors, kits, and apprentices might make fun of me, I could be really embarrassed, and then I'd probably die. But that's it. Wait, all of those cons... they all had the possibility to happen. Think positive Rainglow. So, head held high, chest puffed out, the grey tom strutted over to the spot in the clearing that Lilycreek was holding the event, and plopped his fluffy behind right on down. He felt so alive, so powerful! It was amazing to not care what cats thought about him! Too bad he had only been feeling that for about a second! His tail lashed anxiously behind him, and his eyes darted left and right to see if anybody was looking at him. Rainglow looked forward again, paws kneading the ground.
