Owlfeather smiled warmly at her grandson as she padded over to help with his event. She was so proud of him, putting himself out there for the Clan and doing wonderfully at his job.

"You just tell me what needs doing, dear," the elder purred, her eyes glinting with kindness. She figured part of her job would at least be to help keep an eye on the kits, and make sure they didn't eat anything. She turned her gaze to Bluekit and Graykit who had already appeared.

"Are you excited to learn some gardening?" she asked them with a grin.

Gardening thingy! With an excited hop, since he was in a GREAT mood today, Shrewpaw was at Ebonyfang's side almost instantly. He helped find the spot! Cause he was good! I can dig! Digging is fun! he offered, remembering the burrow flushing. That had been fun! He liked dirt! Dirt was the best. OOH! Foggybrook would like this! With another happy chirp, he ran towards her, calling HUG MONSTER! Come and dig in the dirt! We are planting herbs with Ebonyfang! That about covered it really. Dig, have fun, be useful. Going to be a good day! @The Ink Demon @Elementals

Shrewpaw? She smiled and then looked sprung for her new apprentince.
There he is! She padded over to him her face in a grin the first one she had given to him as she said,

”Shrewpaw? Would you like to work with me? I mean on,y if you want to

Her tail flicked back and forth as she waited a response

Ebonyfang was a bit disappointed at the cats who showed up. This was supposed to be a nice event for cats of Shadowclan to work together. There were only a few cats participating which sucked. Oh well if they wanted to be lazy so be it. The medicine cat apprentice padded over to the cats who didn’t want to dig. ”Alright kits that don’t want to dig will be the ones to check the holes to see if they're deep enough. It doesn’t have to be that deep, so if your whole paw fits in the ground it's good. For the kits who want to dig I want you to dig four sets of five holes.”, he meowed.

Ebonyfang took one of his paws and pressed down to make an indent. He did that five times before going below that line and did it five more times. He dug three more sets of five holes. ”Right where I placed my paws where you're digging.”, he meowed. The medicine cat apprentice turned to each and every warrior and apprentice to tell them what they were going to do. He practiced in his mind on how he was going to tell them their instructions.

”For the first five once their dug out will have Dandelion seeds. So once the kits are done digging you place one seed each hole.”, Ebonyfang announced. He turned to the kits who were digging. ”Alright go ahead.”, he added.

Figuring the kits might need some help, Shrewpaw made his way forward, sinking his paws into the soft dirt. His size was actually helpful now, since his paws weren't the size of blackberries! That was good! Admittedly they were more the size of.........walnuts? Once he had knocked out three of the holes in quick succession, he turned to Ebonyfang. Something had just occurred to him. Did they even have any seeds? Did they need to look for some? Should HE look for some? His mew still light, he mewed Would you like me to look for some seeds, or did you have some already? He almost hoped he was stupid and Ebony had them, but then he would look all stupid. But at least they would have the seeds. @The Ink Demon

Help? Fun? Event? The moment Finpaw heard the words leave Ebonyfang’s mouth, you could count Finpaw in! All he had to do was finish changing some of the Elders’ bedding, and then he was out of the camp in a flash to catch up with the others who joined the medicine cat apprentice.

Finpaw arrived just in time to hear the instructions on how to dig, and - after checking to see how everyone else was doing it - diligently scooped out five shallow holes in the dirt in an unoccupied corner of the garden. All that was left would be to add the dandelion seeds, although.. his eyes scanned the clearing. What do they look like? I don’t want to bury the wrong thing, he thought nervously.
