Honeypaw realizes how much he confused his denmate and he licked his paws sheepishly. He had a tendency to just talk nonstop before his anxiety catches up.

"No, it's okay! I just get a little distracted-"

She gave a quiet purr, though whether it was to try and reassure him or herself wasn't quite clear. A new topic of discussion, however, had come to her mind - one she'd likely obsess over for the next few moons.

"Hey, what do you think it's gonna be like to... y'know, be a warrior? D'ya think we're going to get to fight Thunderclan?"

With the way things have been going, that would probably be a given.

A promise? She hadn't heard of any promises being made... but then she hadn't heard about a lot. Go figure she'd have no idea about it, but maybe that's just how she is. Not that it really makes for a great warrior...

...but right then, he mentioned the pond. Otterpaw still ironically had no idea how to swim, herself, but that didn't make her any less excited-

Honeypaw takes notice on how Otterpaw was going the wrong way and purred in amusement as he continued to cattail pond. His paws naturally carrying him to his destination.
"You're going the wrong way, Otter!"
He looked back at the apprentice and let's out a soft laugh.

Her response came in the form of a frustrated yowl, before she finally turned her focus to catching up and trailing behind him. With any luck, she could take the lead at the last second when she didn't need a guide anymore. Or at the very least not look like a little mousebrain for a second time.

"You know I haven't been shown around yet, Honey!"

I doubt he does know that, Otterpaw.

And she tried to give some sort of response, probably something indignant, before that response turns into meaningless noises of panic as she scrambles at the last second to narrowly avoid charging straight into the water. Whoops.
