Cormorantwing's green gaze swung over to Lightningpaw as the apprentice approached, and she narrowed them as she fixed a firm look on the young apprentice.

''Lightningpaw, I'd appreciate it if you'd keep RiverClan out of this event. This event is WindClan-related, and what happens at the Gathering stays at the Gathering until Twilightstar brings it up to us,'' The black mackerel tabby meowed sternly with the flick of an ear. She turned to Kestrelsoar. ''Would you mind making sure Lightningpaw doesn't bring RiverClan up again?''

Green eyes traveled over to Snowpaw, who had joined the quickly growing crowd. ''Why, of course you can join!'' Cormorantwing purred warmly. ''I did say that both warriors and apprentices could join in on this.''

"Imma rule!" Snowpaw shouted. (can she use her Primal Instincts purrk to help her, as in climbing and stuff?)

Rabbitpaw looked over to Lightningpaw as his friend came over to him and Vinepaw as they all waited to start the hunting. The blonde was about to open his mouth to comfort the youngest apprentice as that was how Rabbitpaw felt about it even with all his training, so it was good that they had such fired up and ready to protect cats as Lightningpaw to help balance it out. Though Miss Comorantwing stepped in then and shot a look at Lightningpaw that had the blonde tilting his head a bit in confusion. No Riverclan talk, huh? That should've been said earlier oops. But no matter, they would just need to wrap this up quick and move on. She was a warrior and an adult, so she was probably right but at the same time she was a bit harsh on his friend in Rabbitpaw's opinion. Though anyways...

Rabbitpaw turned his green eyes to Lightningpaw and offered an apologetic smile and a shrug before turning back to Vinepaw. The older apprentice offered the younger apprentice a smile, "It's alright to be scared, I am so scared of them, though it helps to remember that we have all sorts of warriors, furies, and high ranks alike that're in your corner. You won't be facing them alone and I am sure that Dustbunny wouldn't make you participate in any fights you didn't feel ready for, you know? But uhh, let's focus on hunting for now! If you need any ears later I have more than enough to spare." Rabbitpaw offered with a flick of one of his overly big rabbit-like ears. Then onto the next thing, hunting which he needs to ask Miss Cormorantwing about. The blonde apprentice looked up towards the warrior, "Miss Cormorantwing, I was wondering if underground hunting would be allowed for the event?"

Winterpaw quietly joined the group, listening to the ongoing conversation as he waited for the hunting trip to start. It was good someone was taking charge in replenishing the freshkill pile, along with giving the apprentices an opportunity to practice their hunting. Winterpaw wasn't busy, so he'd come along and gather some prey for Windclan.

Notably Rabbitpaw and Lightningpaw were already there, along with Vinepaw, a young tom apprenticed last meeting. The three of them were talking, with Rabbitpaw seemingly reassuring the younger apprentice, though Winterpaw wasn't sure why...

From what Winterpaw observed, Rabbitpaw just seemed to be, well. Quite nice. He was at least more social then Winterpaw, which wasn't that hard to achieve. ...Actually, did any cats in the clan, not like Rabbitpaw? Or at least have something against him. Perhaps someone did, but Winterpaw had no idea why that'd be the case. He just seemed so... hm. Winterpaw didn't have enough experience with friendliness to think of a good word, but he'd try.

Continuing to stew in his thoughts, Winterpaw sat alone, looking a bit too serious for someone about to go on a fun hunting excursion.

Vinepaw smiled at the other apprentices gratefully once Lightningpaw was corrected he shot the other apprentice a sorry look for mentioning it “I guess you are right rabbitpaw Dustbunny wouldn’t force me to battle if I wasn’t ready and even if I do I’ll have my clanmates watching my back. But let’s get back to hunting talk Dustbunnys taken me out before but never in the tunnels so I hope we get to go down there!” he says quickly before speaking again directed to Lightningpaw “I have an idea what if we did a competition to see who can catch the most prey?” the younger apprentice curled his tail around his paws and waited for the other to apprentices he also saw winterpaw nearby and motioned for him to come over and chat.

Cormorantwing got to her paws and called out to the participating cats. ''If you want to hunt underground, that it completely fine. But,'' She meowed with a wave of her tail. ''You have to have training or you have to be with a cat who does have training.''
