GoldenKit glanced up at his father. He wrapped his tail around his legs. That was horrible! He turned his head to stare at his paws. I can't believe I did that so terribly.

"I'm sorry father. I tried my best." He shuffled his feet nervously. "What did I do wrong." He looked back at his father. If any one can teach me how to fight it's my father. The best warrior in our clan. He puffed out his chest slightly proud to be BlueMoon's son.

Bluemoon sighed angrily. If his son was going to be a good warrior, then he would have to step up his game. Well, first. Your leap was WEAK. Bluemoon huffed. And second, you were SLOW. He unsheathed his claws, curling them into the damp earth. Anger boiled inside of him as he glared at Goldenkit.

Goldenkit watched his father's anger grow. His paws started to tremble. "I'll do better next time. I promise.He wrapped his tail tighter around his legs. His heart hurt a little. Why am I so terrible at this

His eyes brightened. "You can teach me, Right? I'll make sure not to mess up next time. You'll be proud of me soon.

Bluemoon groaned angrily. He bared his teeth and said, I told you what you did wrong. Now try AGAIN! His eyes glazed, and his anger burned. Didn't kits know anything?

GoldenKit quickly dropped into his inexperienced hunting crouch. He took a deep breath to try and calm his nerves. Then he braced his back legs to pounce. His eyes locked onto his dad. I can do this, right His heart pounded against his chest and his breath caught in his throat as he got ready to pounce.

He pushed of the ground with all his might. His paws stretched forward aiming for his father. He closed his eyes tight right before he landed hoping he would hit his target.

Bluemoon let Goldenkit fall on top of him, then attempted to shake him off. What're you doing!? He growled. This kit was so stupid, he wanted to claw off its ears! Don't close your eyes!

GoldenKit was surprised that he actually landed his jump. He was stunned for a moment then hurriedly hoped off BlueMoon. "I-I'm sorry I was... scared." He took a deep breath. "But I did it right!" His eyes glittered happy he actually was able to land on something.

He looked proud in his accomplishment. This practice is working I am getting better and it's all thanks to Bluemoon. He smiled at BlueMoon hoping that his ability to actually land his jump would out shadow him closing his eyes.

Studying Goldenkit for a second, Bluemoon sighed heavily. What do you need to work on now? He grumped, waiting impatienty for an answer.

GoldenKit"s smile faded "I need to not close my eyes?" His ears perked up. "But my jump was good right." His lips curled into an awkward smile. He shuffled his paws hoping to hear praise from his father. "I actually landed on you this time." His tail relaxed a bit and he uncurled it from his legs. "Maybe, I'm improving."
