Gladly accepting the hug, Cricketpaw gave a comforting lick to Sunhowl's shoulder. He had much to learn, but ThunderClan would be in good paws with him at the helm. The rough exterior, the fierce approach... while the young molly didn't quite understand it, she knew that each cat had their own path to walk - and this was Sunhowl's.
Turning her attention now to Iciclepaw, Cricketpaw couldn't help but smile. The light touched her blue eyes and the stars in her fur glimmered as the ThunderClan medicine cat apprentice spoke. "Please, let Eveningstar know I will try my best with what power I have to help smooth things over." She could at least try.
Rising to her paws, Cricketpaw gave a nod to both cats. "You can wake up now."
