Dewkit stared at Mintpool, listening to Magpiewisp and Goosefury continue to give their opinions, try to make Mintpool see the reason why they wouldn't be bringing her back. But she didn't see the point in it. Regardless of whether she saw and understood or not wouldn't change the seemingly unswayable verdict coming her way.
They'd given her a few chances to change her reason, to give a more concrete answer, a plan. And she didn't take it.
The StarClan kit didn't see why they had to break this down every time, why it was so hard to understand why they just
couldn't bring back anyone who asked and pleaded.
Finally, it was her turn to speak.
She blinked a few times.
"I do not see why we should bring you back. You had a chance at life and you squandered it. I side with Goosefury in the decision to deny you a second chance at life."
Her words sounded harsher than they really was. No one was owed another chance at life.
The natural order was for one to be born, live whatever time they were given, die, and that was the end of it. The possibility to cheat this system made people unusually bold, and pushy, she's noticed.
At least Mintpool seemed somewhat polite.
