Receiving approval had Mothpaw's stump of a tail wagging, relief flooding his features as he approached Dapplebreeze once more. Though, as she went on, his ears flattened in embarrassment, feeling the uncomfortable warmth of shame pass through him. Right. He was supposed to bury his catches. Mothpaw nodded slowly, their eyes turning to their paws. A silly mistake.

They looked up again as Dapplebreeze suggested they head back. Ah, yes. It would be good to return soon. Tiredness pulled at his paws, leading him to nod in agreement. Although he knew he would be unable to sleep without nightmares plaguing his every thought... perhaps he would rest for just a bit before returning to training. It wouldn't be good to collapse in the middle of a session, after all.

Mothpaw picked up his catches, laying the rabbit over his back and carrying the bird in his jaws. It wasn't hard to catch the flinch Dapplebreeze had done after stretching- there was no way they would force her to carry any of the prey they had caught when she was injured. Before the cream colored apprentice lifted the bird, though, he offered a small smile in the warrior's direction.

"Thank you. For- ah- bringing me hunting and such," they said. Once their thanks had been passed, Mothpaw picked up their bird and awaited the trek back to camp.
