Morningkit's heart lurched. Fear crawled in her belly and she was silent the whole journey back, afraid of what Flintstar would have to say. If she might have been an apprentice, all hope for that was gone now.

Morningkit shivered with fear. A large, hidious fox stared at her. Oh, StarClan, help me! The fox didn't look like it would back down, but Morningkit knew she would. Will I ever get home?
