"What's so special about watching fireflies with you?" Maggotkit chirps, bounding over in spite of its bratty mood. Though this invitation was for all ages, there appeared to be largely only kits (and Crowfeather) gathering so far; that's what really enticed it to come over. The grubby white kitten's tail twitches as it casts a curious look toward Blossomkit and Maplekit. Fallenkit was only appraised with a mildly critical glance.

"Can you catch me some?" Maggotkit requests, giving Maplekit its sweetest possible look.

Fallenkit bats her eyes, blinking at Maggotkit. Why did it want to come see her, but not Mama? A single tear dripped down her face, but she wiped it away with her paw.

"Sure!" Maplekit purred. She jumped up, biting at the fireflies. "New friends!" Maplekit thought. She looked at the kit. "I don't know if I got any, but you can see!" @nyme

Maplekit moves to tend to a weepy-looking Fallenkit before Maggotkit can get its fireflies. Oh, now it's irritated.

"Fallenkit just does that with her face sometimes, it's fine," Maggotkit huffs. "What about my fireflies?"

"Oh! I'm sorry! Just wanted to make sure Fallenkit was okay." She said racing over. Maplekit pounced up, biting at fireflies so Maggotkit can try. " I think you'll like them! Fireflies are super tasty." She purred. @nyme @Crown_Sage

Fallenkit nods, huffing at Maggotkit. Why did it have to be so mean? She opened her mouth again, snapping at the flickering lightning bugs in the air.

Maplekit bit at the glowing bugs in the air. She looked to see if Maggotkit was getting any. She sat down, mouth full of bugs. The bugs lit up the dark night sky. "So pretty!" She thought. @Crown_Sage @nyme
