She smiled and let out a giggle of her own, quite glad she had a friend to talk to.
"Hey, since you seem to live on your own, want to learn how to hunt? After all, you seem to really enjoy those mice I gave you!" She meowed, a bit of a playful gleam in her eyes.

"Alright! First thing you need to learn is the hunter's crouch, so the mouse won't notice you! After all, you wouldn't exactly stay around if a two-leg went 'Grah!!! BLAHRG!!', ya'know? She went low to the ground and distributed her weight across all four of her legs, and she slowly crept towards the kit.
"See! Now you try!" She meowed with a smile, as she did a little jump towards her. She always did that when she was excited, but it was a good example for how the kit should pounce on a mouse.

Maple would giggle and jump back when I’ve pounced. She’d copy her position and creep forward . . . Then pounce on her tail!

Ice giggled at Maple when she pounced on her tail.
"Ok, that was pretty good! I wonder if you can pounce on a moving target?" She purred to the kit and started moving her tail from side to side, still giggling.

(Yeah, but Ice doesn't know that since she has lived alone for a while.)
"Cool! I'll show you around my territory, and maybe teach you a bit about how to scent a mouse!" She meowed excitedly, jumping forward a little.
