she nodded approvingly "were doing better! but you still need a bit more practice. some species of prey are bit harder to catch than others.but i think with your skill you should at least be able to catch a mouse if you still enough. mice have good hearing so you have to be super quiet! toads are easy as well but they can hop away quickly so you have to catch them quick. same goes for birds." she'll have to teach them tree climbing another day. "try to practice you stance a few more times then we'll go hunting for real ok?".

Floodpaw nodded her head and tried a few more times slowly getting better but not perfect she tried to pounce on a leaf but failed getting dirt over her paws and maw but she kept trying a few more times before landing on it okay with a bit of struggles "Is this good?" she asked

"that looks good! now come on lets see what we can find" after a bit of searching she hears a noise. after disappearing into the bushes she comes out with a black squirl. digs a hole and Burrys it "make sure to burry your prey when your done that way we can come back for it later okay?".
