Redspark frowned as he listened, he knew his mate didn't have it in him to do this patrol "No, You aren't strong enough" The windclan warrior pleaded, he hoped soft would just let him take over the patrol and it seemed to be working. The cinnamon-furred tom sighed with relief as he turned to the others "We should get going! Wolffang will have my ears if we're late" The warrior said with a chuckle before making his way out of the windclan camp. He took a deep breath of the fresh air, it was revitalizing to get out and to just be himself with his clanmates. He paused just outside the camp entrance looking back to see if Primroseshadow and Tidepaw were following.

He paused just outside the camp entrance looking back to see if Primroseshadow and Tidepaw were following.

primroseshadow followed the two cats to the border so they could patrol it.

Tidepaw followed, her silvery gaze scanning the surrounding territory as she padded along. She hoped she looked like she knew what she was doing. The black molly paused, something bright catching her attention. It was a something, some shiny object she'd never seen before, probably because... oh right. They were at the Shadowclan border, which she'd never gone to. The ebony she-cat stiffened, holding her head high. This was a professional patrol, she wouldn't be some goofy kit for them to drag around the territory. She needed to look like a warrior. But... her pale blue gaze slowly slid back over to the sparkling object, she really wanted to see what it was.

"Redspark!" The young apprentice called, bounding towards the front of the patrol, "Do you know what that is? I've never seen anything like it." She gestured with her tail toward the scattered debris glinting in the sunlight. Tidepaw squinted as she looked at it, it didn't look like any sort of plant. Her brow furrowed and she looked back towards the russet tom, wondering if he would know what it was.

Redspark turned his attention to the apprentice, a groan escaped the tom's maw as he examined the debris closer "mm, two-legs have been here... again.. perhaps not recently though..." He said, sniffing at it. The two-leg scent was stale, good the windclan warrior thought to himself with a relieved sigh. hey genius, how're we gonna clear it all up? He furrowed his brows, poking the debris with a paw. The jagged edge pierced his pad, a small dot of crimson forming on his paw. He cursed under his breath before looking around. How are we going to move this without anyone getting hurt... That's when his eyes locked onto a branch with several other branches growing off of it. He assumed it'd been shaken loose in a storm but it'd serve his purpose well. He looked at Tidepaw, then Primroseshadow and thought for a moment "Can you two check and re-mark the border while I start cleaning up this mess? Be careful though! This stuff is sharp!" He called out to his patrol before grabbing the stick by the end and dragging it over the ground. It began collecting the debris among the grass. He'd go over another time after his initial sweep of the area.

ok said primroseshadow as she lead the apprentice over to the border she was thinking of spliting up but wansent sure at first buecause shadowclan could come and attack but decided to just to finish up the patrol and turned to tiidepaw you can start over their and ill start over there she said nodding in the directions and we´ll meet up back here ok.

Tidepaw nodded and headed off in the direction Primroseshadow indicated, though not wandering too far. She began marking the border, glancing back to watch Redspark's progress with the twoleg debris. She wondered what it was for, and why it was so sharp. She'd never seen a twoleg, but she had heard descriptions of them. Tall fleshy things that walked on their hind-legs. Wouldn't that sharp shiny stuff cut their paws? The inky black molly shook her head, she'd never understand them. She finished marking her part of the border and trotted back towards Redspark, slowing as she neared where the debris was and keeping a close eye on the ground, trying to avoid stepping on anything. "Do you need any help clearing this up? It looks like you've gotten most of it." The apprentice mewed, tipping her head at the branch he was dragging. Huh, well that was inventive!

Redspark nodded in response "I saw a similar stick over there if you'd like to finish up!" He said with a gentle smile and a purr, using his paw to point towards a tree near the border. He swept one more row before placing the stick between two rocks to keep it safe and there in case he had to clean up the debris. He then went to check the borders, he marked a couple of places that hadn't been marked as well, but overall he was satisfied with this patrol. He nodded as he made his way back to the others.

primroseshadow finished and walked back to the others to see if they needed any help finishing up clearing away the rest of the twoleg stuff

Tidepaw trotted over to pick up the stick, then walked back, carrying it a bit awkwardly. She began to drag it over the ground, watching where she put her paws carefully. Once all the debris had been gathered she dropped the stick and looked over to Redspark, "Is that it?" The ebony molly thought everything had been gathered, and the border marked. She picked up the stick again and wedged it between the two rocks where the first stick had been placed. That had been kind of fun! It was better than sitting around in camp at least.

Redspark hummed in thought as he looked over the general area around them, debris, cleared, border? marked! Sounds like everything to me! He nodded and purred softly "Yup! Looks good to me!" He said smiling widely, before glancing up to the sky, it'd taken longer than he hoped but there was still plenty of sunlight "We can either head back now or we can hunt a bit, what would you guys like to do?" He asked cheerfully.
