Wow...there were a lot of apprentice ceremonies today...so, so many...heh, lots of cats were definitely gonna be mentors today but she definitely didn't expect her to be on so when her name was called Nightgaze's eyes widened a little bit. Another apprentice for her? She'd just lost Fawnpaw and gained Mantispaw and now she was being given Wisteriapaw? Ok, this was a lot to take in.
Alright, alright she could do this! Forcing her paws to move towards who she guessed was Wisteriapaw, the small she-cat put on her usual, bright smile as she neared her apprentice. "Hiya, Wisteriapaw! Nice to meet ya! I'm Nightgaze, your new mentor!" she chirped in a tone that had been almost always present before the death of her beloved Fawnpaw. She had to appear joyful, she couldn't just walk up to her new apprentice looking utterly depressed now, could she? No way!

Oh, he had actually been assigned an apprentice? Already?
At the call of his name, Glimmermask perked up, rose to his paws and searched the crowd for his new apprentice. Whitepaw. Whitepaw, Whitepaw, Whitepaw. Had he ever met this cat before? Batting his lashes, the pointed oriental tom spotted his new apprentice seated at the back of the throng of cats, with his mother and siblings.
Putting on a gentle, yet welcoming smile, Glimmermask attempted to touch noses with the white cat. "Hello. I'm excited to be training you!" he mewed.

PuddlePaw bounced up to their new mentor. 'Spotty! Hi! When can we train?'
❝ And what if I do
but don't recognize you? ❞
he / him / his a calico tom with a white patch up his side and yellow/blue heterochromatic eyes.
_______ . _______
The spotted tabby calico had scarcely heard his name be called, and just as he was pondering why in the world Important Cat (he thought) was calling all of the apparent cats he did not know, one, in particular, went up to him with a bounce in their step and started excitedly questioning when he was free to train.
Was this some kind of apprentice ceremony? Interesting, but nevertheless, he'd already forgotten the barely-not-a-kit's name. "Uuuh-um, when we're done here, I guess? I've got to check on my kits before I do anything. I'm Spottedfire, and you?" he tilted his head and purred a smile.
It was official. Brindlekit was no longer Brindlekit. He was now BrindlePAW, with a swanky new 'paw name to match his new status. He was now on equal footing with his siblings, if not in terms of training at least in his ability to go out of camp. Out of camp. He could go out of camp! And not have to beg Tansyjaw for training anymore! He had a MENTOR to do that to now! Needless to say Brindlekit was VERY excited by this promotion, and with a happy little hop somewhat unbefitting of his age and newfound 'status' he made his way over to Dogday. Dogday! Definitely a funny name, but the tom looked friendly at least! Hello! he chirped, before making a bit of an effort to pretend to have a bit of composure. I'm looking forward to training with you. Then the excitement got ahold of him a bit again, and he added quickly Do you think we can go out after the meeting? @Madelaine

She looked up from where she had been listening, though her mind had wandered a few times throughout to the shape of the clouds to the reason why the moon came and went. Deep stuff. Her eye widening as Bumblestar called her name. "Yeah? Nice." Skunkstrike purred. Basilpaw, eh? That was an interesting name.
Skunkstrike found this Basilpaw, and she strolled over with a wide, warm grin. "Nice to meetcha. After the meeting, we can chitchat about training," She chuckled, motioning with her paw for him to come sit with her.

Lavenderpaw ducked her head. The calls of `traitor!` and `go back to riverclan!` were overwhelming. She couldn't take it anymore. What could she do? She knew that Sorrelstone would welcome her, but would Birdsnow? Well, she'd- "WELL THEN I'LL LEAVE!" she yowled.
With an angry snarl, she turned and left. "And I'm not coming back." she growled, as her tail brushed the ground under her.

Orangeblossom sat in silence for a bit, just embracing Springlight's comfort and words for a moment. It had been awhile since he was comforted, nowadays it was always him comforting other poeple and he was alright with that but the kindness that Springlight was showing him was extremely nice and appreciated. It made him miss his mom a bit. That's a lie, he was always missing his mom a bit, this just reminded him of her. He sighed and shook the thought away from his brain and looked to Springlight as she spoke to him again. Oh, oh, that was...not what he thought he would hear. He was one of the first cats to volunteer for patrols. That couldn't be right, herbs were so important, surely more cats than just him and the medicine cats realized that. He grinned, "Of course, I am open for a patrol at any time! Unless..umm, I am already on one but that would mean-" He paused trying to understand himself the point he was trying to make but he ended up just waving a paw and his smile turned more sheepish, "Ah, never mind, stopped making sense there even for myself." He wasn't quite at his usual cheerfulness the news from the first part of the meeting still kind of weighing down on him.
Orangeblossom continued to give Bumblestar half his attention but focused more on Springlight. The molly was strange, but not in any sort of bad way, kind of like himself. He's been told that he was odd more than once for his more than cheery attitude but he always felt that life was too sad and too short to try not to stay on the brighter side of things. He figured that it was harder for the other molly to that though, he couldn't imagine what she sees in a moon compared to him in the medicine den. He suppressed a shiver at the thought. His paw was probably just one of many things which just brings up the point of how important herb storage is. Springlight was speaking again and the tomcat gave his attention to her and the offer that he wasn't really expecting at all. He gave a nervous laugh, caught a bit off guard by the medicine cat's generosity, "Y-yeah! I was planning to go and pay respects to Goldenheart."
Bumblestar caught his attention again as she began to list off the names of many, many kits. Wow, did they really have that many kits ready for their ceremonies already? Well, goes to show how great of a clan they are. The warrior sat pleased, "There are so many." He said it more to himself than expecting any reply. The tom turned to address Springlight again when his own name caught his attention when Bumblestar began to assign mentors to apprentices. Berrypaw. That meant that he was a mentor. With an apprentice. Oh. "Oh, an apprentice for me? An apprentice???" The tom was entirely caught off guard by this announcement. He was only 17 moons and he was getting an apprentice. He barely just got his own paws through the door of warriorhood and he was expected to train another cat how to be one? Though Bumblestar called on him, so that meant she thought that he could handle it. He couldn't let her down.
He muttered a quick apology to Springlight, "I still want to go to Willow's rise with you, I just need to check in with Berrypaw. Would you mind waiting until..umm tomorrow. I expect Berrypaw to want to head out immediately and I want this to be her day 'cuz, you know, it is. Apprentice ceremonies only happen once." After waiting for Springlight's answer the warrior padded away with a goodbye wave of his paw, "I'll be back after meeting with Berrypaw, promise!" and with that, Orangeblossom padded off to find the newly named apprentice. Which didn't take long as he almost crashed into Berrypaw only a few paces away from Springlight. The little thing to be very eager and excited which Orangeblossom was happy to see.
"I am your mentor! I also can't wait, what would you like to do first? We could do some touring of the territory? Or hunting? or oh! battling or learning how to do patrols? Or anything else you have on your mind?" While waiting for his new apprentice's answer he took a moment to call out the names of the other named apprentices finishing with Berrypaw's name. He turned his gaze back to Berrypaw and waited patiently for other feline's answer.
[ @iliri - Springlight | @Artemis - Berrypaw ]
[ Sorry this is kind of really rushed /w\ ]
Berrypaw's eyes widened. So many options! But she wanted to see the territory first. "I wanna see the territory!"

Orangeblossom smiled at his apprentice before Lavenderpaw caught his attention as she called out disruptively and started to stomp towards the exit to the camp. Should he stop her? Bumblestar just said that she wasn't to leave camp for any reason without a warrior accompanying her and he thinks that counts trying to leave for a hissy fit. The warrior apologized swiftly to Berrypaw before bound over to the newly demoted apprentice, stopping in front of her. He frowned and planned to move to block her if she tried to continue leaving. He tilted his head, still unsure of himself and wondered if it was better to let Lavenderpaw leave then cause a huge scene in the middle of a meeting. For now, to be safe, he would not let Lavenderpaw leave, if Bumblestar gives Orangeblossom the all clear then he would back off.
The warrior tried to keep things light at first, this was his clan mate after all, she did something stupid and got with a riverclan cat of all clans but Bumblestar was willing to let her stay and that meant he would treat her as he would with all of his clan mates. "Bumblestar just said that you can't leave without a warrior escort. I can't let you leave right now." He watched the molly carefully, he didn't think that she would start a fight in her situation but anger changes cats and not always lets them think clearly.
Whitepaw stared at the cat "Twamig?" He asked, confused. Was that the word he saw on this cat's lips? Nightshine looked at Glimmermask. "He's deaf, so he can't hear you or understand what you mean. He learns quickly though."

"I assure you, it won't be a problem," Glimmermask mewed earnestly. "I'll make sure to teach him extra about how to use senses other than just hearing." He offered a small but bright smile, not wanting to let down this young cat or his mother.
