she got off of Ketsueki. "Thala? What's gotten into you? What have they done to you Thala?" She asked and growled at Matasi. "Answer me!"

Matasi snickered in the background as That began to tremble. Tears formed in her eyes. “Surrender now to Ketsueki or be killed.” She managed to say as she held eye contact with her former friend.

Ketsueki stretched and smiled to her. “Ah, looks like someone finally saw her fantasy world was fake~”

Ketsueki stretched and smiled to her. “Ah, looks like someone finally saw her fantasy world was fake~”

Ibuki looked horrified at the wolf that looked like her friend, but he saw that in her eyes, there was no friendship anymore. She was caught in a dilemma now as her choices were racing through her mind. Finally after a few seconds of silence, she howled for her fighters to step down. She didnt want to harm any of her wolves or friends any more than needed. Her scowl showed as she looked to Ketsueki. "Before I do what I do, I want to hear a promise that none of my wolves get harmed in any way shape or form."

Thala’s stern face broke and she went to say something before Matasi stood in front of her, blocking her view of Ibuki. His eyes warned her to shut it, and with a stifled sob she did.

”I promise, as long as they swear loyalty to me and my pack, and if they obey the rules, they will live just a good life as any other of my well trained wolves.” He paused. “And Ibuki, if you show me your loyalty you will be able to stay in your own lands...earning your way to the top once more.” He offered. “I’m not as heartless as some believe...uniting us was the right thing to do.”

After getting shoved by Matasi next to Ibuki, Thala looked to Ketsueki, then to Ibuki and held back another sob. Thala then bowed her head to the he wolf. “I, Thala, leader of the hunters offer my loyalty and alliance to Ketsueki.”

A smile cracked from his lips as his gaze turned tot he wolves that surrounded them.

”Well, you heard them, bow to your new alpha!” Matasi howled before bowing his own head.

Soon after, all the wolves one by one bowed their head and Ketsueki couldn’t help but practically beam. The she wolf that lived in the woods...soon you will be next. With a deep breath, Ketsueki howled a howl of victory, his wolves joining in with their tails wagging.

After their celebration ended, Ketsueki looked to Ibuki and Thala. “Please, make sure your wolves don’t revolt. In that case I would have to kill them...” He sighed. “As for the both of you, for some time you will be in my lands, can’t have you plotting against us can we?” He looked to the wolves around him and drew in a deep breath.

“Tonight, the hunters and fighters will be closely monitored, I advise you follow our rules and no casualties will occur. Please, take this time to bury the fallen.” He watched his higher ranking wolves gather and supervise the others before turning to Ibuki and Thala. “Matasi, Braith, please accompany us back to camp.” With that he begun walking.

”Will Star be alright?” She couldn’t hold it back any longer. “And Tumu?”

”Yes yes, thanks to you...you will be able to see her tomorrow.”

Thala stoped before being pushed by Matasi. “And. Tumu?”

”Thala, my dear...please don’t push my buttons. The pup is in safe arms, I can assure you that. Now please, calm down.”

Thala went to say something before pausing. No. She couldn’t do that now. Not when he had the two of them. Not when they knew where he was. With a shaky sigh she kept her eyes glued to the ground, unable to even look in Ibuki general direction.

Not until she cleared her head. She stood up when told and followed Ketsueki. Great, this couldn't get any worse now could it?

Not until she cleared her head. She stood up when told and followed Ketsueki. Great, this couldn't get any worse now could it?

Ketsueki nodded to him with a small smile. “This wouldn't have been able to go through with this without you.”

After some time later they arrived at Ketsueki’s territory. Once they were there the he wolf brought them to a den, big enough for the two of them to sleep comfortably. He gestured them to go inside and looked to the both of them.

“There will be a large amount of guards around you, so don’t think about escaping. Medics and food are on the way, your beds should be made.” He looked to the two of them and sighed. “You will have a personal servant between the two of you tomorrow. Sleep well.”

His tone was harsh and didn’t seem to match his caring actions. He was treating them with kindness for a reason unknown to the two of them. But he knew that they knew not to mistake his kindness for weakness. Or, at least he hoped they knew. “Matasi, Braith, you are dismissed-“ He looked to Braith who seemed to want to say something.

“Matasi good evening to you, I am glad that the plan we made regarding Thala was a success.” With a nod of his head, Matasi was off. Which left the two wolves alone. “Yes Braith?”

Thala curled up against the back of the den, not even attempting to look for a way out. She stared blankly at the ground while she still shivered from shock.

In a rush Matasi returned to his den, expecting to see his beloved waiting for him.

Braith took his praise in. And stayed silent, glad the two could now talk alone, but also now not wanting to put his input in. He followed him to where it was just the two of them. "I know we won and we got the surrender, but something just feels....off. about this victory." He looked at Ketsueki again and chuckled, forgive me. It's probably nothing. I'm sorry for wasting your time. I'll escort myself out." He said walking towards the exit.

Once inside the den, she sat down. She chuckled. "Who wouldve thought. To have lost in the most important battle." She looked at Thala. "So what happened. You're not going to tell me he got to your head. You dont have enough marks on you for him to have physically beat you. What happened." She said, it was less of a option for Thala and more of a demand.

Celestia had been pacing back and forth, on her guard waiting for any intruder. When she saw Matasi however, she smiled and ran up to him. "You're ok!" She yelled pressing her fur against his.

"Oh don't go putting words in my mouth. I never said anything about it being your fault. I'm just curious you know. " She said with a light laugh.

Celestia had her eyes gleam with excitement. "Oh Matasi I cant wait to have a tour!" She exclaimed.
