"Well, We could always get a story from the elders, or we could patrol around camp and make sure nothing gets in! We could be like guards!" Sparrowkit said as he followed Sunkit. He took a super deep breath, and then sneezed. "Well? Whatdoya think Sunkit?"

"Yeah let's protact the clane!" The fiery tom said loudly, puffing his tiny chest. "They won't get past us!" Swiping at an imaginary enemy before his ocean eyes looked at his brother. "We can protact the clane and then tell the elders all about it!" Sunkit excitedly said, he crouched down with his hindlegs still standing up, tail waving.

"Well, let's jump to it." Sparrowkit said. Before he bounded away, he made sure none of the queens were watching. "Alright. It's go time."

Nighttuft sighed when suddenly a sharp pain shot through her belly. She yelped before realizing what was happening. "Thornfur!" She called. "Shiverpetal! They're coming!"

"who's coming," shiverpetal meowed from his makeshift nest in the nursery, set up for the occasion. it was a good vacation home from the medicine cat's den. "thornfur and shiverpetal are here, well... shiverpetal is. thornfur, eh, i could probably be him too." whatever little play they were putting on, he could take on many roles.

thornfur ran to her side licking her pelt to clam her " it will be ok" he said trying to calm her

"The kits, you mousebrain." She meowed to Shiverpetal before yelping again from another kick. She flickered her eyes towards Thornfur and smiled. Another kick came. It was sure they would be coming soon.

oooohhh yikes. shiverpetal wasn't fond of getting called a mousebrain, nor did he really like kits. "eh, kits aren't my style," he said with a mild face. "they're a little goopy and loud, but have fun." if she liked them, at least those kits would be staying far away from him, and he could jive with that. with an amiable 'see ya', shiverpetal slipped out of the nursery.
