Clan life was never guaranteed happiness, Lichenpaw knows this, she's been face to face with it more and more the past moons, still, there's something about Crowtooth opening up to her just that small bit that has her feeling... odd. It's almost like pity, though she respects the tunneler far too much for that to be the emotion. Regardless, she can empathize with him.

Rabbitpaw and Vinepaw aren't too far off, and at the tunneler's request to help dust off his apprentice, Lichenpaw finds herself smiling as she scoots to the other side of Rabbitpaw, wondering, idly, what announcement Crowtooth was privy to that involved the apprentice. A warrior ceremony, maybe? If Rabbitpaw would allow it, she'd brush off some of the dirt from their shoulders.

"Hi, Vinepaw. You alright?" Lichenpaw asks, addressing the other apprentice and then, when Lightningstorm joins them, she smiles to the healer, nodding in greeting before listening to Twilightstar as she continues the meeting. Owlpaw is apprenticed, and following that are the reassignments. Lichenpaw listens, waiting to hear her name and her ears perk up as Crowtooth is named her new mentor. Glancing over to him, she grins.

"Hello mentor number five," she jokes, though it doesnt feel very funny after she says it. "At least you'll have an easy job - I'm assessment ready unless you wanna do any review."

Mintpaw sheepishly mumbled, glow gentle voice quiet. "Well... I just had a tour around the territory, but... nothing else". Glow went missing when glow was barely 6 moons old, so it's no surprise, really.

Mintpaw's ears perked up subtly in excitement. Glow sharply nodded, eager to know how to hunt. With the twolegs, glow didn't got much activity, and maybe glow wasn't so strong after that encounter, but glow wanted to try glow best.

Heathernose blinked in surprise, but bowed her head at Twilightstar's announcement. Being assigned an apprentice was a great honor, but she'd be lying if she said she wasn't surprised to be chosen. She looked around for the white she-cat who she was now responsible for, wanting to introduce herself and at least get to know each other and where Snowpaw's apprenticeship was already at. Taking over where another cat left off should in theory be easier, but Heathernose felt that it would come with it's own set of unique challenges. And she certainly didn't want to treat her new apprentice like this was her first assigned mentor, she wanted to respect Snowpaw's journey up until now.

Wah.... she got reassigned? Hawkfur was so great though! Maybe this new cat would be easy to prank though, Snowpaw thought. "Heathernose?" Snowpaw called out.

Deadmoon was wrapped around this kitten's paw to an extent that was, quite frankly, embarrassing. Then again, maybe it didn't hurt to have someone as bubbly as Owlkit around. Her smile still wasn't real, it was still thin and weary at the edges not least because she hadn't slept well since Wolffang's death, but it was stronger than it had been in a while. The small molly was just.........so unbothered. Nothing dimmed her flame, nothing kept her down for longer than an instant. Deadmoon smiled down at the soon to be apprentice as she received a hug, her eyes inexplicably tearing up just a hint. She liked hugs, alright? And she needed them a bit more than usual now, even if she hadn't told Owlkit that.

The kid looked proud as a peacock as she received her new name, and her mentor. Leechscar. Deadmoon..........honestly didn't love that. There wasn't a whole lot she could do about it (obviously), and there wasn't too much reason to it either. But the misgivings were there all the same, and she scowled slightly. Then she remembered that this was very much Owlpaw's day, and she needed to fulfill her role as mother older friend and cheer loudly and obnoxiously. Owlpaw! Owlpaw! Owlpaw! she yowled, waving her tail around rather obnoxiously and potentially smacking other cats in the face with it. Dimly she noticed that Mintpaw was back, though glow had a new mentor. But mostly she focused on the brief feeling of euphoria Owlpaw's ceremony was giving her, a temporary blot of light on the dark canvas of her life.

Heathernose's ears perked up when she heard her name. She turned and found a young white she-cat calling her, and assumed this was Snowpaw. For a heartbeat, she froze. Her heart pounding as she realized fully that this was now her apprentice. Her actions, and the way she mentored this young cat, would shape the kind of warrior they grew into being. The weight of her responsibility seemed to come crashing down on her shoulders like an enemy, but she forced herself to keep her composure and her fur to lie flat as she walked over to Snowpaw.

She touched noses with her apprentice, and gave her a small smile. "Hello, Snowpaw. I guess we'll be working together now." She meowed. Her voice smooth as calm water. "First, you'll have to show me what you've learned from Hawkfur. And we can go from there. Sound fair?"
