Shifting nervously at his sister's question Falconflight was a bit unsure what to say, Lark hadn't agreed nor had she declined but...she didn't seem to pleased on the idea...so he’d just have to convince her!
"W-Well if you want then yes! But if not then I'll just keep an eye out for you...from afar of course!" he mewed confidently grimacing at how stupid he sounded hopefully she'd agree with that how could she say no to her little brother looking out for her?
@FrostyGalaxy (Oh no I accidentally deleted my previous post! And I swear I did not see Peach's post!* head slap*)
"Well, thank you for doing that," she says, though she still feels a little awkward about needing to have guards - secret or otherwise - in the first place. At the very least, this will hopefully put Falconflight's mind at ease if it does nothing else. "Do what you wish, but don't make it too obvious, if there truly is rebellion stirring in the mix, then I want them to have the confidence to try something." Her tail lashed behind her, and Larkstar can't help but think how vindicating it might be for the culprits to believe she's not guarded, to believe they can do whatever they wish, only for them to open their eyes to how things are really working around here.

@FrostyGalaxy
Whiteclaw sat outside, speaking of his business here before he was even invited inside, even if it was a little hesitant. Lark... sort of liked that he got right to the point, it saved them the trouble of pleasantries. "An apprentice? I think that can be arranged." She said, inviting him inside, "What are you looking for in an apprentice?"

She had waited some time after the meeting had ended to finally make her way over to the leader's den. Trotting she poked her head in before she verbally said anything. "Lark? You here?" she called out and waited for a response
"Springpaw! Perfect, just the cat I wanted to see," Lark greets with a smile, making space for the apprentice in the - admittedly sort of big - den. "Come in, I've got an offer to make you."

"I fo' one Know tha' it's quite nice to 'ave reaffirmin' words in a tough time." She responded to the first statement whilst listening to the second set of words. "Yea', it'd pro'lly be best 'o talk wit' your LionHearts 'bout it, but if ya ever do decide to get guards n' all, I'll Gladly step up." She rolled her shoulders, which were becoming slightly stiff from standing in the same position. "But, if there's anythin' I can do for ya, let me know, aight?"
[Just sayin, her offer extends to being a lionheart hehe]
Lark smiles, the words Koiviolet shared were kind and sincere, she's a good cat to know. "Well, thank you, I really appreciate that," Lark purrs in gratitude, "and thank you for bringing attention to certain... rumors. I'll call on you if I ever need the help, promise."

Alright, this conversation had to get done sooner than it did later, so Larkstar scans the clearing looking for a specific cat until she spots her. The fluffy brown coat is exactly what she was looking for. Confidently, assured in her purpose, Larkstar trots over.
"Ottersplash," she calls out, "come with me, real quick, we need to finish our conversation," and she ducks back inside her den, preparing to hear what the molly has to say for herself.
he walked inside "To be honest, i really don't care, all i want is to help out the clan in making an apprentice a warrior" he gave his chest a quick lick

She waited a few minutes before finally the one she had called for had appeared and greeted her. So her seeing getting that look was intentional like she thought so, for once she assumed right. Moving into the den she took a seat and gave her attention to larkstar. ”offer? What kind of offer?” she hoped it was a good one, had to be if she went by the tone of her voice.

The tabby warrior ducked out of the Warrior's den. He turned to face Larkwing... no Larkstar's den. Cliffjumper debated for a moment before padding over. He ducked his head in, amber eyes scanning the den for his leader. "Larkstar? I wish to speak with you," he mewed softly, only his head in the den to respect her.

The feline made his way into the leaders den. Stopping just before the maw to suck in a breath. He'd lied about being on that patrol, but he was out and about. Of course he had no idea what was going on and didn't even see the patrol that was doing the poisoning, but surely his brother wouldn't have let that happen. He couldn't even defend himself now anyways! He was dead!
Taking a moment to collect his thoughts, the tom pushed in. "You wanted to speak to me? I realize I missed the meeting we were supposed to do in the Clearing. I'm sorry about that." he apologized. Mentally taking note of the fact that he was panicking behind the Warriors den when he'd heard her call for him.

But these fingers and these palms
Full of love despite the scars
They show indisputably I have so much more to grow
Oh, I can change, I can evolve
I can get up when I fall
I'll live contentedly, I don't need a reason why
Standing tall and standing strong
I have found where I belong
In the arms of somebody, there is no more need to cry
Gulp. The cat pads into the den, keeping silent until they thought it through. Would she get denied? How would this make her or their sissy look? Would Larkstar see them as dependent on someone else? Just ask. Just ask, Risingpaw! You're a big cat now! "L...Lark..Larkstar? I wanted to uh, erm request something. It's n...not something huge.." The apprentice mutters towards the shecat. The younger cat giving a weary smile. Sissy would be proud! She had always be proud, or Risingpaw thought she was. Cherryswirl was always so nice to her so she would surly be proud! Yeah, stand up for what she wanted in life. They made to make it their own.

"So," she began as "tell me about what Bumblestar was talking about. Poison at Cattail Pond? Her description matches you exactly, Ottersplash, but Sunnybunny told me he knows nothing about any poison, so please share your sides of the story. Don't lie to me either, I'll know if you do," she just wanted them to be honest with her. She'd get mad if they had planted poison, sure, but she was the type of cat who valued honesty over anything else.

Larkstar smiled at Springpaw. The apprentice must have some idea of what the offer was going to be, especially with the recent meeting. "Springpaw," she began, easing into the offer a little bit, "are you happy with how your training is going and with your progress?" She wanted to see some of that fiery spirit and determination she knew Springpaw to have - just to assure herself of this decision.

Just as Larkstar was going to settle in for a quick nap, only a few minutes and then she'd get back to her duties, Risingpaw found their way into her den, looking like nothing but a bundle of nerves. Lark didn't know what they were so nervous about... she tried not to be intimidating, she had thought herself as reasonably approachable, but to this apprentice, maybe she was the scariest cat in the world to approach...
Attempting to put Risingpaw more at ease, Larkwing lay down in a loaf, offering a kind smile and a slow blink, trying to let the 'paw' know she wasn't someone she needed to fear. "Hi, Risingpaw, how can I help you with your request?" She asked, voice gentle.

Ottersplash grunted. I didn't do it. Like Sunnybunny, I know nothing about poison at Cattail Pond. I vas in camp, and even zen, I don't even know any herbs zat are poisonous. Except death berries, but I honestly don't know vere to find zem." She said through narrowed eyes. "And as for zee cat, who knows if zeres a loner or somesing zat looks like me. Zee cat may not match me perfectally" Ottersplash pointed out.
