Tinypaw munched on a fairly big fish. While doing so he looked into the distance, apparently surrendering to thought as he had nothing better to do. His short grey fur almost matched the stone he was laying on. This small tom was taking a break from training.

Longkit stumbled out of the nursery, looking over at Tinypaw. She walked over to him with her tail flickering. "Hi! You must be Tinypaw!" yowled Longkit. The she-kit sat down beside the apprentice. "Wanna play a game of mossball?" she asked, being friendly.

"I didn't have any siblings, and I think my mom is still a loner with my dad." Aluminumpaw replied. She took a small bite of the fresh-kill and chewed it thoughtfully. "Unless my dad became a kittypet. He always seemed like he could be one."
"Oh." Waspwhisker said. "Does that mean... that you joined RiverClan?" The tom always assumed that mostly everybody was purely, 100% clanborn, but maybe not. It was a surprise that she could have loner ancestry and still fit in RiverClan so well, whereas he was clanborn and... could not.
Waspwhisker tried not to squirm too much as Aluminumpaw mentioned kittypets. Those useless, good-for-nothing felines.

Longkit smiled and picked up a mossball. She threw it, then jumped up in the air twisting and slapped it over to Tinypaw. He kept his eye on the ball of moss as it flew in the air.

Reedbriar padded quietly into the camp, glancing back at Fishtail in worry, "I don't even know what to do anymore in here.. I-Is Russetstar still leader?" She asked, her voice rather shaky as she glanced around the camp.

Riverstrike pushed her daughter towards the entrance with a paw. "He should be coming back soon; look! There's Goldpaw now!"
The golden-furred apprentice raced through the tunnel. "He's coming. You can do this Mosswhisper!"
The brown-and-grey-speckled she-cat shook her head, dropping the mouse. "N-no! I-I can't!" She tried to flee to the Warriors den but Goldpaw blocked her way. "Ohh no. You got yourself into this. And you're gonna give him that mouse."
Mosswhisper laid her ears back, her eyes begging her mother for help that she knew wouldn't come. "I-I..." she swallowed. "What if he doesn't want it?"
"Too late now!" Riverstrike shoved the mouse into Mosswhisper's jaws and shoved her towards the entrance at the exact moment Piketooth entered.
