He looked at Crowthorn with a small smile. "You have a cool warrior name," he said with a little playful grin. He lay his head on his paws in front of him, yawning a bit. "I shouldn't be this tired, but I didn't get any sleep," he muttered, to no one in particular, mostly himself, he guessed. He was just talking to talk, a habit he needed to stop. It wasn't a terrible habit, but people were never happy when he rambled on, so he stopped talking and waited for Crowthorn.

See, this was his first real leafbare and he'd never seen an icicle before. When he saw one dangling from the roof of the apprentices' den, he just had to check it out! ... and maybe lick it...

He didn't know what came over him, but did not grasp the consequence of his action until it was too late. One lick, and he was snared - glued to this stupid clear rock. Try as he might, he couldn't pull away without losing his tongue.

So he just.. stayed there, awkwardly, while he awaited freedom. He wasn't sure how that would come, maybe he'd just get lucky and it'd let go? He was faintly aware of Beachkit dancing in the snow but his mind was mostly occupied by his tongue bein' got.

Beachkit -

About ready to retreat to the nursery in search of somewhere warmer to take a break, Beachkit shook the snow from their pelt and sent it scattering in all directions. They didn't care for the lingering... wetness that clung to them, causing their typically soft and peachfuzz fur to be damp and sticky against their skin, and adding to the chill settling into their bones. The sensation had their pelt prickling.

Maybe leafbare wasn't what it was cracked up to be. His mother had tried to put a positive spin on everything, like saying the lack of prey was good preparation for the harsh life of a warrior, but Beachkit was less than impressed.

The snow was fun. At least for the first few minutes. Now, they merely sought reprieve from its cold clutches.

Beachkit began the return-shuffle on numb legs but only managed a few steps before spotting Wolfpaw, and they perked up. Wolfpaw large. Fuzzy. No snow on HIS pelt. W a r m. And he was... he was doing something? They didn't quite know what, with his tongue out like that. "That's not really how you share tongues!" they piped up while they approached, but seemed unconcerned with the icicle situation overall as they scoped out the waiting pocket of heat. When it didn't appear as though Beachkit would be receiving any semblance of a proper reply, they burrowed into Wolfpaw's underbelly fur and after situating themselves declared, "Okay! Well, I'll just wait here until you're done."

Honeydew smiled shyly, he wasn't good with taking compliments. "Thank you," he said quietly. He couldn't think of anything else to talk about, so he kinda just sat around, waiting for Crowthorn to talk. Then a thought came up. "Do you miss being a kit? or an apprentice?" he asked.

SHOCKKIT

There was only one word to describe Shockkit's natural state of mind these past couple of days: impatient. Quite some time ago, Plumkit (that rat!) had promised her they would enact the greatest prank of all time. It had been 5 moons since then (no it hadn't, she's being dramatic).

Now, Shockkit was prowling the camp (as much as she could, it was cold outside so usually she prowled the nursery), searching for the pesky little snake, when she was alerted by a call. From said snake himself. So, Shockkit stood up, jittery from excitement that she could finally confront Plumkit, that she almost barrelled into him. Almost.

"Watch where you're going, doofus," she said, even thought she was the one who almost bumped into him. Then she realized why she had come all along. She glared at Plumkit, expecting him to explain himself for all the trouble he caused her.
