Beastspark held his breath for a moment to keep from sighing when the happy tone died on the spot as soon as Irisflame's eyes found him. He didn't think he could handle having her looking at him like that every time he saw her. He wouldn't have pegged Irisflame as a cat who held grudges, but there was seriously more to her than her appearances. He'd have to get this mended like right this second.

The deputy came a bit further into her den and took a seat and then lowered his forepaws so that he was resting on his belly, silently minding the height difference between them. He made sure to la his tail out in front of him so she could look at the bite there, he wasn't sure if she'd be able to reach his shredded ear with his head raised so rested his chin on his crossed forepaws. The cuts in his flank should be easy to access along with the wounds on his shoulder. Beastspark was not big on awkward silences nor was he all that great with mincing his words. Seeing as he was the older one he figured he should be the one to get this started.

"Just so you know, I'm not mad at you. I doubt I'll ever find a really good reason to ever be mad at you." Beastspark wasn't going to bother apologizing for what he said. He didn't see the point asking for her forgiveness since he didn't think she was really mad at him or that he had done anything wrong just touchy about his words. "When I spoke earlier I didn't take into consideration how they'd make you feel. I'm sorry." He did feel bad about hurting her or make her feel like less. Whatever it was he had done wrong to her, he felt guilty for it.

Irisflame smiled, eyes glittering in amusment. The kit was something, she had to say. Very excitable, more eager than most, and one at the most darned energetic cats she'd ever met. She dropped the prey she'd been picking out before- two mice, a large pidgeon, and a squirrel. That would be enough, wouldn't it? She cleared her throat, feeling some fur down there. Ick.
"If you could help me carry this back, that would be great! And I'm sure some cats might need water, huh?" She offered, trying to match her energy. Which was hard, because she wasn't a naturally energetic cat. At all. Well, only around close friends or when she was fangirling. But that was a while new section of her life.

Irisflame could feel the heavy silence upon them as if it were alive. It was so strange, that even with all of the possibilities that could have been mewed, none were said. Not a word. And that...worried her. Perhaps she should say something? She gazed at Beastspark, eyes hesitant. But that could make things worse- she had the most terrible social skills, and almost never 'thought before she acted'.
As he sat down, she smiled gratefully at his gesture. At least he was considering their height difference. How nice of him. She said even this with a bitter tinge, slipping down beside him to inspect his injuries. Simple marigold and cobwebs, as always. Fetching the two, she let the silence kindle for a bit longer as she began to treat his scratches. The shoulder and flank wounds were easy, as they were easily accessible. But Beastspark opting to put his head down was a wise decision indeed.
"I'm glad to hear that. Look...I don't mean to hold grudges, but it did hurt. I'm just happy you're not like those jerks who refuse to admit they did something wrong." She murmured, keeping her eyes on his wound. She just had to get this over with. Breathe. See, shoulder and half of the flank done already! You can do this, Iris.
"Am I hurting you?" She asked, looking up from his flank. It still looked a little tender.

Baykit raised a brow in thought, humming quietly at Blackpaw's indecision. Well... She had already done a game of hunter and prey with Wolfkit, so no to that one! But Mossball? That was tempting.

"Hmmmm..." Popping out a single claw, Baykit quickly made her way over to a mossy patch of rocks, carving out a thick, round chunk. Hooking it onto her claw, she tossed it in Blackpaw's direction,

"Here catch! Let's play some Mossball - but cool catches only!"

Rabbitkit poked his head out of his nest. It was a new day, with new chances to explore. He heard that a gathering was happening today. I really wish I could go...Maybe I'll be a leader one day! And I'll get to stand up high with all the other leaders. The first step is becoming an apprentice. He noticed some other kits playing outside and went over to join them.

Hawkkit darted out of the nursery. "Rabbitkit!" he squeaked. "Want to play?" @PeppermintRabbit

Rabbitkit noticed Hawkkit. "Yeah I do! What should we play?"

Hawkkit grinned. "I'll throw the mossball, and you have to catch it!" @PeppermintRabbit

"That sounds fun!" Rabbitkit waited for Hawkkit to throw the ball.
