Blackpaw had barley shook himself off before he sprinted behind his mentor and attempted to jump in his back and deliver some blows to his head before jumping off. I hope this works he thought.

Irisflame chuckled, a grin emerging in her face. He was okay, and he was funny as always. He may have lost blood and been unconscious for half a day, but he was fine. He could manage. Shutting back, she cleared her throat.
"I'm glad. You did well for a cat in an unfair fight, you know?" She purred, dipping her head. She could imagine Falcondive's pride and annoyance at the tom, his yellow orbs narrowed. The though made her snort. "Riverclan lost, and Shadowclan remained victors. I'm not sure who died." She informed him. Though it didn't feel like victory. Half the clan was injured, and some dead.
She could see the tension in his muscles and the look in his eyes that every cat got. Everything still hurt... A poppy seed or two would do him good. Handing two of the small seeds to the tom, she smiled.
"Swallow these. They'll help with the pain."

Hornetsting was a little more than surprised, his ears ringing as a blow was landed to the left one, causing the warrior to stagger slightly back. He went for roll again but Blackpaw was off of him quicker than he realised. He landed to the floor with a groan, grinning at his apprentice. "Good job, kid!"

Irisflame shot across the den to the other nests as she heard a horrified mew. Who was awake? Who was injured? Who was dead? She'd gotten out of her best for this, so it'd better be better than some vain cat who'd torn a claw of ripped an ear. Her indigo orbs floated over the room as she passed silently across the nests, eyes curious. Who had called for her name? It was early morning, and most cats were still in their nests, except for the morning people. Being barely after sunrise, the sky was a light blue. Her eyes fixed on a moving pelt, and rushed over to comfort the tom.
"Honeypaw, are you okay?" She mewed, sinking to sit down beside him. At his question, her eyes pinched. Did he not know? "You were taken down during the battle, and Falcondive brought you here. I thought you'd...died. But you're okay, I promise you that."

Irisflame looked up as an unknown warrior padded in, his eyes shifting across her den. Presumably to search for her- so many cats needed her at the moment. But the scent of prey hit her nose, the stunning smell wafting through the air. She hadn't eaten in days. Her name was called, and she emerged from the den in her usual state- with a few little pieces of moss and herbs still in her fur. She never had time to properly groom in the mornings. She glanced down at the prey, sizing it up. Was it a bribe, or was it for her? Or not at all?
"Yes, what is it?"

Redspot met her bluish greenish eyes with his piercing, yellow ones. "I thought you'd like some fresh kill," he offered in his deep voice. He always had a deep voice, and he didn't care. He just wanted to do what was right for his clan.
"Well, I'd better get going. See you," Redspot said in goodbye. He started to pad towards the exit, leaving the den entirely.

Blackpaw was practically preening for the praise. “What’s next?” he asked standing up straighter.

Hornetsting couldn't hear out of his left ear for a moment as it still rang. He shook his head, huffing. "Alright I think that's enough training for today! You've earnt yourself a fat toad, I think.'

Dogpaw was licking the few minor wounds she had received from that blasted Riverclan cat. What Warrior attacked an apprentice? Lowlife nitwit. At least the faint pain kept her mind from idling on other emotional wounds. The torti feline glanced around the clearing with dull green eyes, her heart ached for conversation with a pretty Molly. Dogpaw craved an interaction that didn't end up with someone dead or leaving.

Foggykit bounced across the clearing after they were escorted from the Waterbarn. Foggykit tilted their head in confusion and meow, "Why is everyone so sad?"
