What an odd name. Sleepysunrise regarded the cat sceptically. A new recruit for ShadowClan, a new mouth to feed, a new possible liability. The young medic was not particularly impressed by the feline, but she supposed that is why Miss Grandmama let her run these tests. These cats were expendable, they didn't matter. They had brought nothing to the clan as of yet. After a long while of just watching the cat, the petite dark-furred feline presented the small mushroom she had brought with her, white stem-med with a brown cap. She presented it to 'Fluffy'.
"Eat."
She stated plainly, voice leaving no room for argument - eat or leave and never come back. She waited.

Reason for Joining:after his mother passed and his own group of other loners left him while he slept, he felt bitter for a bit, he wanders around this new area after traveling with some cars and such from the dangerous area he lived in, its colder here but he prefers this area since prey isn't trying to kill him, he's heard from a pet that the wild cats are to be avoided but he finds it...interesting, so he wants to join them, how? he isn't sure.

Espresso had been wandering. Wandering Wandering Wandering. She didn't really know anymore. She felt like just a bad piece of gum, chewed up and spit out. And now she was here. With a quick look around, she kept walking. Her breath was caught in her throat. They felt like they were walking on eggshells. There was a smell which she lingered by. It was probablya border. "Hello?" She called out. @Undertaker

"Another nuisance." The reply came in the form of a low growl. The speaker a gigantic dark tabby with scars. She flickered her tattered ears as she strolled to the edge of the border and peered at the furball across from her.

"I can already guess why you're here, but start talking." Dawnstar orders with a dull expression. The cat didn't look like much.

Dawnstar rolls her eyes in response to his words. "True, but all you've given me is empty words to go off of. It's not like you'd done anything to prove you have any potential worth betting on." She meowed, annoyed. She kept giving these cats chances and more often than not they waste them. She was only taking in outsiders, and out of all of the ones that managed to get in she ended up feeling like they were taking her for granted when they disappeared.

"You see that," Dawnstar spits when he begins apologizing for something or other. "That's what makes me believe you have no potential, a waste of space within my clan. Do you even know what you're apologizing for? You have no confidence in yourself and you want me to accept you into my clan, known as the most aggressive clan within the forest? Do you truly even deserve a chance?"

Dewpaw was surprised to hear a voice from above. Her eye looked up and saw a blob in a tree. Well. That's a little horrifying. She.. was not expecting that. "I'd like to join your clan, if you'd allow it." She dipped her head and continued speaking. "I used to live in Riverclan before I got attacked. I know how to hunt and how to fight. I also know that I stand out most of the time unless it's leafbare. Shadowclan is about stealth, yeah? But even if I try to be as stealthy as possible I seem to stick out. So as embarrassing as it is to do, I figured out that I can roll in mud to hide my fur color."

RiverClan? Interest peaked, Dawnstar tensed her muscles and leaped from her branch. She landed heavily within the snow, using the annoying stuff to soften her landing. She shook the snoff off her paws while moving closer to the border to get a better look at the cat. She might have seen her among the cats at the gathering, but aside from her pelt nothing about her was all that memorable.

"I figured I'd be getting less minnow at my border with the new leadership in place, I guess not." Dawnstar grunts and shakes out her pelt. "I do detest cats with solid white pelts, if I could eradicate the color from my clan I would, but my clan would complain." She adds after the she-cat comments about her pelt.

furball??? Aslan's hackles raised, his green hues narrowing. He didn't want to risk fighting with this cat however - she was scarred, huge, and looked like she could tear him to pieces. The larger kitten opened his mouth to speak once more. "Who said I was crying? See, No tears!" he stated, pointing one of his large paws to his perfectly dry, windswept look face. The kitten took a look around, spotting no other cat other then this ginormous tabby. "My name is Aslan, at least that is what mother called me. I can't seem to find her, and i've been walking for ages. I'm lucky I ran into you miss..." he explained, pausing after 'miss' since he didn't know the large molly's name. He shuffled his blistered paws and letting out a slight hiss at the pain. "You seem... experienced. Do you know if I could stay with you, maybe? I can be of use if needed... well, I can once these paws heal." Aslan really hoped he could stay with them, but if not, he didn't really know where to go. Aslan figured straight to the point was better, no use in dwadling, and he just wanted shelter and food. And skies above, he didn't want to be alone - mama had been gone for what... two sunrises now? Aslan hadn't the slightest clue of where she could have gone.

"Ah, sorry, did I say crying I meant whining." Dawnstar huffed, glowering at the kit. He was a sassy little thing, wasn't he? Dawnstar usually found them more amusing or irritating. Kits got away with their bluntness due to their age. It was often curbed, at least, in her presence when they grew and learned how touchy the clan leader was with respect.

Wonderful, another mother who dropped their kit in her territory and with no way of Dawnstar finding her. Her face scrunched up at the mention of "miss" not a fan of the title. Her thoughts shift from the title to the hiss of pain. He didn't look injured at first glance. He didn't smell sick but the leader wasn't fond of injured things either, especially during leafbare.

Next to her medicine cats, herbs were the most precious commodity. Wasting them on anyone who wasn't her clan or of use to her was a pain in the tail. "What's wrong with your paws?"

Reason for Joining: He doesn't know why his mother keeps trying to keep him away from the Clans. He's a grown adult now, he can take care of himself. So why does she think she can make him do whatever she wants?
After abandoning his childhood home and leaving his mother behind, he's just desperately trying to find a home. Not just any home, but a Clan. A Clan he can support and be safe in.
Plus his sister is in ShadowClan.

This was the last place Reid had been, if he remembered correctly. One of the Clans' territories, he presumed. But Reid had never come back, had he? Or at least that was what his mother had told him. He still didn't believe Clan cats ate other cats, that was absolutely ridiculous, no matter what his mother told him.

An obvious scent of a border. He wasn't going to risk getting chewed out, or even attacked for crossing it. So he paced just outside it, tail tapping against the ground slowly.

"Deepest of apologies if strangers are not welcome. I am just... Well, if this is a Clan... It's the only place I can really stay that I can be of help to, and be safe in." He called, unsure if anyone was even near to hear him. If there wasn't, damn he probably looked stupid.

"Strangers aren't welcome, but I'll tolerate your presence for a few moments." The dark tabby meowed as she padded from behind a large tree trunk. Her golden glares lock onto the outsider with little interest in her eyes. Well, he didn't start with the usual nonsense she heard so points to him there.

"What your name, why is a clan you're only haven and what help are you talking about?" He made it sound like he was in trouble, but Dawnstar would withhold further judgment until he started talking.

You can pester the queens with questions if you have any. You'll have a lot to learn, but so long as you follow the rules and don't cause trouble, you'll never lose this home. Now then, come along." Dawnstar demands, leading the way back to camp. She was leaving him behind if he couldn't keep up.

Wow arrogant! "Get you're ass back over the border before I make you." The clan leader's broad shoulders brush against some bushes as she pads out of the shadows. Her claws were unsheathed and her hackles were raised. The cat before her didn't look like he was one of those younger mousebrains with no common sense. There was no way anyone lived as long as him without knowing what borders were, outsiders marked their territory, and it was no different with the clans. The large feline gives one more warning hiss and tenses her muscles to spring at the stranger.

Northernlight stared at the ShadowClan leader, his breathing short as he spoke. "Yes, I can agree with that. But how can you say that I have no potential? I believe I have potential, and isn't that what matters?" He pointed out, his tail flicking ominously. "I bet at least one cat had their doubts about you growing up, they believed you had no potential." He paused before going on, trying not to shake as he met the larger she-cat's gaze. "But look at what you became. How do you know I won't rise to my potential either? Because I'm a loner?" He meowed, narrowing his eyes. "So what? I know how to hunt, I know some fighting moves, and I'm willing to learn and live by your code." He put in, taking a deep breath. "I respect you, I really do. I want to learn to be great like you. Can't you see?" He murmured, his ear flicking confidently. I promise you, I don't lie."

Mother has had these before, calls them blist-ors or something like that. I dunno. But once they're healed up, I should be able to help out!" aslan purred, puffing out his chest.

Dewpaw watched as the humongous leader leapt down. She had seen how big the blob was from afar, but up close.. She felt small in comparison. When she spoke about hating cats with white pelts, Dew nodded. "I understand. They don't blend in well. Makes 'em easier to get attacked." Then Dawnstar asked about her name and why she didn't return. Fair enough. "My name is Dewpaw.. Or I guess Dew. I probably shouldn't refer to myself as Dewpaw anymore. I was in Riverclan. Got attacked by some loner. Was supposed to have some cat with me, since I was apprentice 'n all. They never came to help. I think they just left me to die. I had gotten so far away from the camp, got lost. All I could smell was blood. Never had a territory tour, couldn't find my way back." She took in a deep inhale, a scowl appearing on her face.

"Guess they moved at some point, found their scent markers moons later. Talked to Owlstar. Understandably, she didn't want me, it's Leafbare after all. Maybe it was a good thing she didn't want me back, I don't know what I would've done if I found the cat that left me there to die." The white she-cat kept her gaze on Dawnstar. "I'm not looking for pity or for sympathy. In all honesty, I feel like Riverclan has failed many cats, including me. I want to be in a clan that has stability, mostly. A place that will be tough on me. And while I don't doubt Windclan or Thunderclan would be any different, I would much rather prefer Shadowclan. I'm not built for harsh sun from Windclan. I cannot climb so I doubt Thunderclan would take me."

Her scowl turned into a soft smile. "I won't fight any choice you make. It's Leafbare and prey is scarce. Either way, I appreciate you taking the time to listen to me."

"I'm Surge," he said, straight to the point, no questions, no 'wait's. "And I wish to join your Clan and provide for it. My mother had always told me ruthless stories about the Clans. How they would attack and kill innocent cats. As a kit, I really did believe her, but when I grew older and started questioning her stories, well. I will make a long story short. She is out for my blood now. I... Have been trying to get her to understand that Clan cats aren't like what she thinks, but it isn't working." He paused. He shouldn't seem so desperate. He shouldn't act like he was only doing this to seek shelter.

"It isn't just shelter I seek, I truly wish to live in and provide for your Clan. All my life I have lived... Well, I have lived everywhere. I don't want to die and rot out there where nobody will remember me or even remotely care." He gestured past the borders with his tail. "I want to live with a purpose in life. That being living in your Clan."

Reason for Joining: Been exiled from WindClan due to joining a rebellion and attacking Twilightstar and been under his brother's protection, but eventually decided to join another clan. Reason for rebellion was because he felt Twilightstar was too soft as a leader and that the clan wouldn't thrive and was bound to fall, also why he chooses ShadowClan.

Ottercold.

He/him - Outsider - Rogue.

He can't stay forever under his brother's protection, even when injured. No, Ice wouldn't like him staying too long, he's just a burden even if his arrogant self hates to recognize it.

The sleek-furred rogue paced around Shadowclan's borders, impatiently waiting for any of the warriors to find him. Maybe Dawnstar herself.

He knew this was stupidly risky, that he was a mouse-brain, that he might get injured worse or maybe even killed, but this was his chance to join a less boring life again.

He hoped the scent of his weakness and vulnerability would reach the nose of
a ShadowClanner. The wound in his flank still ached a bit, and he tried to ignore that.

He can't run as fast due to the wound, he knows that. He's no longer the predator, but the prey, and he hates that feeling but at the same time makes him feel alive.

Adrenaline, the feeling of danger. He has longed it, yearned for it, and is now back. A dangerous addiction, being an adrenaline junkie. The feeling of energy coursing through his veins and making the pounding in his chest faster made him feel less dead.

Still, he focused, ears perked up and nose up in the air and grey gaze scanning the place. Any sound, any scent, any movement. Anything. Any sign that his presence is known.

He hasn't bothered to hide his scent, he just wanted to be found. Whether this meant his demise or a new chapter in his life, he's going to find out soon.
