Slowly exiting the warriors den and entering the RiverClan clearing, Ryebelly looked up at the thick clouds
with soft, slowly blinking eyes. With half-shut amber eyes, he directed his gaze to the
clearing where his clanmates did their tasks and interacted with each other. He
sighed, sitting down and relaxing his body. It was such a relief to finally be out
of the stuffy warriors den and be out in the open.
Ryebelly began to lick his russet-colored paw and begin to think about the
remainder of the day. Although he was in the mood for a peaceful walk in the
forest, he knew it would be a better idea to go hunting and provide for the
clan. Besides, it would be a better way to stretch than just walking. Deciding to
get some energy first, he stood and made his way to the fresh-kill pile.
Selecting a fresh fish from the pile, he sank down to the ground and carefully
started to pick apart the prey. As he began to eat, his ears swiveled gently
toward the sounds of his clanmates talking.

scaring the fish away." He paused for a second, then said, "Do you
wanna go ahead and head there now?"
