Tinystorm limped into the den, taking a seat near his nest. He began to aggressively groom his fur, tongue rasping over the several fresh bite wounds and cleaning away the caked-on blood.

His attention was drawn to his tail, where the dog's fangs had stripped some fur and flesh away. Fortunately, the damage wasn't too deep - not enough to expose bone, but attempting to groom the tender, bloodied skin was an unpleasant experience. Tinystorm hissed through his teeth, finishing up and tucking his tail close. He'd need to keep an eye on that, for sure.

A certain siamese warrior sulked in the furthest corner of the warrior's den, grumbling to himself. Who knew that "overworking himself" and "staying up too late for too many nights" and "not sleeping enough" and "not eating" would result in sickness and misery?? Not Beansprout.

Goosehonk and Fogcloud slept

Fogcloud walked over to the deputy after getting the report from the patrols that she had sent out. Only three had reported and their tail lashed back and forth in annoyance. Once she had scanned that none of the cats that were going to be punished were in the den they were going to inform Gingerfrost of it, which they did with a gentle poke.

"Gingerfrost I have some things to tell you."

Just barely out of the medicine cat's den, Gingerfrost found himself cleaning the old nest of his that had been left untouched for the past half-moon. He grimaced and grimaced, not pleased with how icky it had gotten when he felt a gentle poke to his back. Thinking it was an apprentice he turned around and cast his gaze downwards... Only to meet a pair of paws. So not an apprentice. Lifting his eyes, it turned out to be Fogcloud, with some news for him. He quirked a brow, nodding so the shield knew he was listening.

Fogcloud bowed their head lightly before speaking, "Darktwist never reported back the patrol at Saltmeadow Marsh along with Sapstrike, Silverstone, and Silenttail not reporting back on their hunting patrols. None of their other patrol member reported either." the large shield was disappointed in their warriors, but there wasn't much they could do other than inform Gingerfrost. "I just wanted to let you know so punishments could be doled out. I would have done it but didn't want to overstep during the time."

What a pain. Gingerfrost audibly groaned as Fogcloud reported back which felines failed to do their job. And then they went and complained -- honestly, he was growing tired of the felines not finishing their patrols. And this just after he got released from nest-rest. The tabby heaved a heavy sigh, tired.
"Thank you, Fogcloud. I'll take care of those"
He could rope them in with the up coming round of punishments - if it was necessary. He hoped not.
