Crystalpaw was limping around camp, with her right forepaw black with burns from Shadeclaw's fire. It wasn't as bad as the one on her side, though.
Lilytuft was about to check on Icebite when she saw Crystalpaw. Her eyes widened and she ran towards the apprentice.
With a "Meep!" Crystalpaw jumped.
"Are you alright? Who did this to you?!" Lilytuft meowed fiercely.
"I-I'm fine!" Crystalpaw mewed in reply.
(Pfft. What characters based off rpers actually have GOOD ideas?)
Flicking her tail, River yawned, then took a deep breath and let it out, padding to the center of camp. She thought about inserting herself into a group that she didn’t know so she could get to know them, then considered going out of camp to hunt. Glancing at the Warriors den, she thought she could check in there if anyone was doing anything interesting, or she could lay in a sunbeam. She sniffed at the prey pile, but she wasn’t hungry. She might be later, but on patrol she could hunt. She looked around for someone to join in a patrol with.
(All this occurred in about three seconds.)
